Re: FA Cup Changes

All a massive overreaction. Let's be honest unless you get a big club in a replay they are massive loss makers for the majority of clubs and inconvenient for teams, players and fans. Just take our match at Eastleigh this season. We'd have had to push back the Oxford (H) match by a week to fit the re...

Re: GDPR and the loyalty points

This has been like this for 5 years now since they upgraded the system. They do say: LOYALTY POINT HISTORY - UNFORTUNATELY YOU ARE UNABLE TO VIEW THE POINTS TOTALS FOR YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY, BUT WE HOPE TO PROVIDE THIS IN A LATER RELEASE OF OUR TICKETING PROVIDERS SOFTWARE. IN THE MEANTIME, PLEAS...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

I wouldn't read anything into it. Compass/Levy contract ran out end of this season and was always going to change regardless.

Re: Royals on the Box/Internet Thread

A disaster for any match going fans who face the inconvenience of early kick-off times in order to accommodate live TV and also for the club who will be worse off. I've heard RoyalsTV is a nice revenue generator for them, particularly on a midweek when a number of STH's won't attend home matches but...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

The US investors will always want to make money, and that means aiming for the top league. Interesting to listen to the US Bournemouth owner last night on his plans, and the Birmingham City expansion plans. We already have the stadium, but needs more use. Buy the land around the ground from the Tha...

Re: Ex Players

Mr Angry At the game last night, I heard that Jamie Cureton has Motor Neurone disease; terrible news if true.

Maybe they were getting confused with Marcus Stewart? Ex Rovers striker who had a fund raiser recently for it alongside Stephen Darby.

Re: Euro 2024

I *think* I have managed to secure a ticket for the Poland end for Tuesday night assuming they beat Estonia this evening and Wales beat Finland in Cardiff. Ticket was legit so was in amongst the travelling 1,800 or so Polish fans. Great atmosphere in what was a truly awful game. Poland fortunate to...

Re: Burton (A)

We've only taken 1.7k on 3 or more occasions this season and granted some of that is due to not having the allocations but they were Charlton, Portsmouth & Wycombe which are all nearby and easily accessible. I'll still stick to my prediction this doesn't sell-out

Re: The Non - League thread

I am looking forward to meeting with supporters this evening, which will take place in Stripes following the men’s first team open training session at York Road. The open training session will start at 7pm, with the supporter meeting commencing afterwards about 8pm. Clearly 2023 was an extremely di...

Hound Massive well done to the commercial team btw if they’ve made up a 1m shortfall so quickly

Be interesting to see what’s been dreamed up

Heard last weekend a shirt sleeve sponsorship deal is definitely one of those.
