Bolton potless at the moment. Would make a lot of sense. However we employ a legend at this point and we stick by that legend

Re: Are we really going down this season

A month ago I would have said yes, no hope in hell of surviving. However there is a glimmer of hope now. I think we will be OK but it will be close. We need a really strong month where we can string some results together and pull away. I am thinking February after the window. Gourlay was really lead...

Re: BFTG - Stokies

^ this Basically a decent draw with our second string team versus (for all intents and purposes) a Premier team Stoke aren't a Premier League team mate, they were appalling last season. If they were they would still be there. However a good result against a decent side at this level with an outstan...

Re: The owners have spoken.

Nigel Howe should be given the role. Was there during our most successful days. Hope the owners back the club with some money to get in short term options to drag the club to safety this season and pump in some more next season. I don't think that much is needed to finish above 3 sides this season. ...

Re: BFTG - Ipshit H

It also depends on who you are playing. If you have a run of Hull, Rotherham, Ipswich, Bolton and Millwall and mustered up 10 points for example, at the start of a season, for example, would you for example say your the best team in the league Course you wouldn't. We are shit and will be found out w...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Ipswich Town (h) sponsored by Orlando Sa

Ipswich are shit, only just not as shit as us. We are going down It would be a tough break on Bournemouth to go down after starting the season so well. Don't be a clever shit I'm watching our game and I'm mightily pissed off. Better defending at Prospect Park on a Sunday Morning after a night on th...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Ipswich Town (h) sponsored by Orlando Sa

Biggest thing we could gain from this match is momentum which we haven't had so far this season. A second win on the spin and the confidence will flow back in

Re: RUMOUR - Steve Bruce

In national fans survey a few years ago the Bournemouth fans most hated club was Reading. This would be like moving to Brighton and going to the AMEX. The funny thing about that, though, is most Royals fans I have known and met over the last 40 odd years are almost completely ambivalent towards Bou...

Re: RUMOUR - Steve Bruce

My home town is Reading and where I live is Bournemouth. Hence the reason I support both clubs . Kids support Bournemouth. Remember when I moved down here Reading were Premier League and Bournemouth were on 17 points. Strangely then no one said a hoot or made comments of little old Bournemouth and ...

Re: Rumour - Phil Parkinson

How many promotions or even half decent campaigns in this league has Parky had? Bruce has a track record in this league and with similar size clubs to us; yes her's had failures but he's about as good as what's out there.... Apples, oranges. Parky is an up and coming manager, Bruce is a manager in ...

Which TBF is totally fair enough and fair play to AFCB. They have achieved and more importantly sustained (thus far) comfortable top flight status, with a far inferior fan base, infrastructure, commerical appeal, ground etc by shrewd, intelligent decision making over a sustained period both on and ...
