Re: CONFIMRED - Tommy Elphick

Be good to get this deal done. Apart from playing a part in Ipswich debacle he has looked assured in games played Villa fans want him to stay and believe Terry will leave. I suspect they may struggle to keep hold of Chester who is a PL quality centre half. We may not have a chance to sign Elphick n...

Re: Anyone For Chinese?

Do you know anything about the interest rates the club are being charged against our debt? I read an article about Championship clubs a few weeks ago which suggested we were being charged astronomic interest charges which were at a far higher rate than any other club in the division. From what I re...

Re: Today

Made it down with nil expectation, managed a good lunch and got back home by 9. Still don't know how we won 4-0. Your defence were non-existent. In fact, at the end, one of your Central Defenders (think it was Gunter) couldn't wait to get off and basically just put his head down and went. The Sears...

Re: Back from the ****

I'm sure this will annoy some folks...but I couldn't care less. I boo'd the players at the final whistle. I have been to around 1,200 RFC games (trust me....that is a lot) and I can take defeat, but what I will not tolerate is a lack of effort. I too walked past some of the players elaborate cars p...

Re: Results required for us to stay up in the final day

Burton are the ones to keep an eye out for. They will stay up. Barnsley may get a result against Derby. Birmingham will NOT beat Fulham though

Re: Back from the ****

We are rudderless both on and off the pitch. Our decline has coincided with change of ownership. We have had owners for the past seven or eight years that don’t have any interest in the club. Our current owners are nowhere to be seen. Our Chief Exec is nowhere to be seen. On the pitch leadership is...

What a stupid comment. If we go down, we also start on 0 points next season, as do they. As do Accrington fooking Stanley and AFC fooking Wimbledon

You trolling? No. Don't p!ss me off tonight with some stupid wit. Leave it till 3pm on Sunday IF this football club is safe. I think hiring him second time round was a mistake. Never go back. Better staying with a proven manager and someone loyal to this club than an unproven manager who did very w...

Sacking McDermott the first time was a mistake. Sacking him the second time was also a mistake You trolling? I agree with him We might not have finished third last year but McDermott would have provided that brick by brick approach the club needs at this point. It's proved most successful with Copp...

Re: Back from the ****

The players deserved everything they got today and more. Totally unprofessional. They have let us down week after week and eventually they will lose the fans backing. Ipswich looked like the team that needed something just like last week at Sheffield weds. This arrogance amongst our players could c...

Burton will survive, Barnsley will survive. It will be between us and Birmingham. Do us a favour Piazon I would imagine Fulham and their fans will be resigned to their fate when they see who Cardiff are playing next week. would they want to put a full shift in when they know we are certainties to l...

Re: Back from the ****

Jonathan Low’s player ratings after a defeat are always a bit brutal. All 3’s and 4’s. He makes a good point about Kelly not playing to the whistle and appealing to the ref instead. Unprofessional. Brutal. Brutal would be 1s and 2s and that's what they deserve. An absolute embarrassment after last ...

Re: Back from the ****

I'm going to let rip Today, I expected after last season to be fighting for a place at the top table, taking it to the last day but the prize being a place in the Premier League. Next weekend, the prize is a place in the Championship and since that day at Wembley the whole club must take a long hard...

Burton 2-1 Bolton Wanderers
QPR 3-0 Birmingham City
Barnsley 1-1 Brentford
Reading 1-0 Ipswich Town

Safe and a 3 horse race for survival with Burton and Birmingham surviving but Bolton (sorry Parky) going down

Re: Relegation Watch

I'm not sure. I think Burton will win their final two games. Barnsley will not win 2 of their 3 games including tonight though so they'll go down. The good thing is Bolton getting beat by Burton will relegate them instead.

We are pretty much safe if Barnsley get beat tonight

Re: Leaving Games Early...?

Not very often but some lowlights where I've buggered off early. Sheffield United 3-0 at Elm Park - second to last game at the old ground. Terrible performance enough said. Bristol Rovers 6-0 - Enough said Wimbledon 3-0 - Likewise enough said against a terrible Wimbledon side. Must have been about 2...

Re: who do you want as the new manager

@pjcadden Told Paul Clement expected to move to Reading. From a Sun journo I'm not sure I want Clement. But hey, if he comes, he will have my full backing. Personally I would want a manager who can give this lot a kick up the arse like Coppell or Redknapp and go in for Parky next season. Murty woul...
