Re: Building for next season

Just a thought.....HRK and ShLong are dropping into the Championship again.....would any of you take HRK back? Personally I would break the bank of Long....he's exactly what we need.......suspect its just a dream though and he will stay in the PL with another club......As for HRK......no thanks. Did...

Re: Relegation Watch

Despite our struggles this season, I actually don't think we need wholesale changes (given we do stay up). We need a striker and a defensive midfielder (to sit behind Kelly and Swift) as priority. Maybe a right winger. Otherwise I think the squad is okay, it just needs this season to be over and to...

Re: Relegation Watch

Just a small twist on this title......If we do stay up I think its gonna be tough again next season. I think the teams coming up and teams coming down (especially) are gonna be bloody tough. The fact the three coming down from above have been in the PL a while really does give them a bit of an advan...

Re: Relegation Watch

You could put the bet on? The 40-1 is reported available at Ladbrokes and Corals. Our advantage is that we arent in competition with one team, we need THREE teams to finish the season better than us and we have a win advantage over all of them. Plus these are teams that struggle to win. PLUS, you a...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Sunderland (h) sponsored by more than 1 shot on target please boys

Well, it was only a point, at least we were entertained.
Both sides were poor and Sunderland would have been out of sight at half time with the chances they scuffed. But when it looked like only one side was gonna win it (and it wasn't us) I was happy to take a point at the end.

The luck we had against Preston and QPR flattered us. If we do lose today I just wonder what the confidence implications will be.

Re: Reading v Sunderland OFFICIAL Predictions Thread

This game could make or break us. I've got a bad feeling about this.
I'll predict....
HT Reading 1-1 Sunderland
FT Reading 2 - 3 Sunderland
Barrow 22
Bod 85

Re: Relegation Watch

Not sure who the pundit was who was talking to Alan Brazil on Talksport this morning, but he thought we were the likely ones to go down having been to one of our games recently. Described us as "Utterly Awful"..... Really can't argue with that bit. I really am getting a bad feeling about S...

Re: Champz League 17/18

A Roma v Liverpool final would be the neutrals wet dream I f#cking hate Liverpool. Would have loved City to have turned em over tonight.....but then the city players were c*nts trying to get Mane sent off. Ideal scenario. Madrid in the semis, and if that fails Munich in the final. I couldn't bare t...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Fulham (a) sponsored by nothing to lose

Idiotic from Bacuna but a great set of results elsewhere, could barely have gone better. 3 points at home on saturday should see us safe pretty much +1 Only other thing to say was first half performance was pretty gd, look a much better side under clement. Anyone else realised if we win Saturday an...

Its a bit pathetic isn't it. I just don't get why we can't do it. Its not like our wide men are slow.....I guess its because our strikers have the pace of slugs.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Preston North End (h) sponsored by the curse of Saturday

In the non away half of the South Stand there is a small group of maybe 40 Reading fans who are standing up and singing throughout the first half. Is this our standing area experiment? Or is it a special Armed Forces thing (their flag has an RAF logo I think)? Armed forces....or Mods day out.....St...

First time I’ve been for a while partly due to cantbearsedness and partly to holidays. Observations. Moore back to his imperious best. Has Clement cloned a new Ilori? Different player to the last time I saw him. Gunts is still Gunts Bod is far and away our best striking option I still like Barrow R...

I swear Kelly got up and thought "let's annoy Ascotexgunner today". He's been so f*cking wasteful. Everything has been over hit as usual, or going backwards.
