Re: Nations League & Friendlies

Scotland were utterly hopeless. How has James Forrest not started? Why is Kieran Tierney a centre back all of a sudden? I predict Mcleish will go down as one of the worst managerial appointments in their history. Clueless old dinosaur. Two of their best players are left backs, and I think Tierney h...

Re: Nations League & Friendlies

Gunter again. He has to be dropped. Bring in Dummett and switch him to right back. Failing that play Connor Roberts. Gunter has had his time. He was awful last night. Im certain if I still had the legs Id have better awareness and positioning than he would. I agree Drummett for me would be the one....

Re: Nations League & Friendlies

Nice of Gunter to turn his back on the Spanish shot that went in. Talk about amateur defending. Nonce.

I fear Rotherham's home record will keep them up.

What I went for as well but it will be interesting to see how competent Millwall are when we play them.

I think these as well. I guess the only question hangs over QPR and a possible points deduction if that happens.
Even if Bolton get a deduction wont make any difference.

Re: Solutions to problems (instead of moaning)

Fan expectations/patience/general unhappiness or indifference - Owners issue a statement of intentions/game plan, Be more open - actually admit things are bad rather than try to suppress any bad news. Atmosphere & Attendance - Reduce ticket prices & offer some incentive to season ticket hol...

Re: Gourlay

It is very easy to put your trust in the wrong person. You cannot argue with Gourlay's CV either, they had no reason to think he wouldn't do a good job. Indeed, you are very correct, his CV is impeccable...but...the main difference is that Man United and Chelsea have money thrown at them in sponsor...

Re: Gourlay

good news to come out of it, is it seems no one has a bad word to say about the owners themselves so far. Hopefully they'll be around a lot longer than Gourlay will be I’d say “naive” isn’t a great glowing recommendation. It is very easy to put your trust in the wrong person. You cannot argue with ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : West Bromwich Albion (a) sponsored by Paxo, probably

Well it’s October and it seems people have given up. I haven’t yet - get a proper manager in and we’ve a chance. Clement is shit. He’s taking us down. I once again return to the point that if four managers in a row have failed, why would a fifth succeed, and what gives you any faith we'd hire anyon...

Re: BFTG West Brom

Good post. Absolutely fully agreed on Southwood and Loader. They may be young but so what they cannot be worse than what we already have. Why on earth did we give Jaakkola another year? McNulty doesn’t look up to it and why was Meite kept at the club and Novakovich loaned out again? Meite only has ...

So if Clement goes, who comes in? Nigel Gibbs Sam Allardyce Alan Pardew Carlos Carvalho Phil Parkinson Some foreign bloke with no real experience in English management A Steve Gerrard/Frank Lampard type An upcoming younger manager from divs 3 or 4 might be worth a shout No more inexperienced manage...

Re: Will going down be a bad thing?

Less income (gate receipts/merchandise) resulting in having to pay lower wages, means attracting a different type of player, plus being in lower League means we wouldn't be competitive in trying to get the players the fans crave. In addition, reducing resources of club infrastructure (pitch mainten...
