Re: Club developed players

problem with Cooper is he just kept making them. They were always absolute shockers as well - poor back passes straight to a forward, falling over - basically goal creating ones He always looked a talent, but maybe needed a change of scene. I liked him, but think he would have been a disaster under...

Re: Club developed players

I don’t think this would be a problem for us at all. We could name any one of 4 home grown centre backs on the bench without a problem. We’ve got several keepers who would be ok as reserve keeper. Loader currently and Novacovic next season qualify as would Smith. Obita and Richards when fit plus Wa...

Re: BFTG , Hull.

Paul Clement - 10. Ballsy team selection. Paid off for him. Finally a manager that has enough about him to drop poor performers. And if he hadn't been "ballsy" I suspect he would have been looking for another job tomorrow morning. It's a bit sad we have to suffer an infinite amount of los...

Care to go into more detail?

Was referring more to off the pitch....sh+t attendance, empty boxes etc......you know..the usual.
I probably should have said.."this win won't change anything off the pitch"

Re: BFTG , Hull.

Hull were utterly awful. Wonder how many times the word "reflect" will come up in Nige's interview tonight. New bloke did OK......looks like he needs games......pleased we got 3 points, but nothing changes for me. There are still massive problems. Anyone know what the attendance was? P.S. ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Hull City (h) sponsored by a distinct lack of Saturday home wins

This feels like an amateur charity exhibition. Hull are genuinely the worst team I've seen, including non-league. They're barely even there. But we've had our warnings, we could always still lose or draw, gotta get some daylight. We look poor, but Hull are letting us play and can't pass. Ezatolahi ...

Re: BFTG - Norwich

No he's not. What does Kelly bring to team? Kelly and his attitude are a huge part of what is wrong at this club. Lazy, idle and complacent little dweeb. Rejecting an Ireland call up via text message - quite possibly the most disrespectful and oxf*rd thing to do. Im preying Gunter does the same to ...

Re: I think I’m done - just can’t watch this lot anymore

Looks like a lot of people are giving up......Wonder what the real attendance was last night? Was told it was around 12000 but looked worse than that. I think they include season tickets in that attendance as well and there were quite a few that weren't there last night.

I am all for him at this point, he's a known c**t who does things his way, he will not put up with slackers like Gunter and Aluko they will be out the door. Him or Roy Keane for m...

Re: BFTG - Norwich

My opinion on Gunter (I'm sure you're all desperate to hear it) , is that he's a safety-first player, currently lacking confidence not only in himself but also in the rest of the team. The reason he passes backwards or sideways so much is that he either can't see a safe route for the ball forwards ...

:D at that horrible team Spurs. Lost to a pretty poor Inter Milan Horrible team? Have never found Spurs particularly offensive. I’ve mentioned it before but when they came here a few years ago a number of them slagging off Making derogatory comments towards Reading F.C. was pitiful. I felt embarras...

Liverpool have done themselves no favours there. 35 minutes 1 attempt on goal.....1 goal. Very sloppy.

PSG look awful. As much as I hate Liverpool, they look so superior attacking compared to PSG its embarrassing..... Especially when you think of the reputation and cost of the French side.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Norwich City (h) sponsored by Andy Hughes

Gunter will stay in I expect. All I want from him is 6/10 performances until Obita is back, shouldn't really be too much to ask Aluko will prob stay in unfortunately, though Sims' case is getting louder by the week. Its a tough one, didnt especially like the team we put out, but obvs you don't mass...

Re: Reading v Norwich Match 10 Prediction League

Hmmmmm tricky one.....Might come down to earth with a bang. Good result for Norwich at the weekend. Worrying that if they broke down a Pullis team, and kept a clean sheet, what will they do with our defence. Could be tight....Though again with Norwich you don't know what your gonna get sometimes.......

Re: BFTG - Preston

Not good enough to be considered premiership quality though. We are seeing his shortcomings . Not sure of your point. We’re not Premiership quality. Aluko was a very good player in a team considered by many the best ever to have played in this division. He SHOULD be a key player in our team. The qu...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Preston North End (a) sponsored by the season starts here

Just from the highlights, couple of nice bits of play by Swift I don’t mind him and Bacuna in the middle - have a bit of dynamism and creativity about them. Be interested to see how Kelly played Lovely bit of play by Sims on the third - laid it on a plate. That bit of play by their #12 on their fir...
