Re: Who could replace Stam?

Well, Wigan 1 - 0 Man City , i guess Paul Cooks resume just got a little tastier. Those Wigan players gave it their all and defended magnificently....now those players were playing for there manager and giving it their all, but i guess Paul Cook will not want to come to Reading lol. That's what a p...

Re: Relegation Watch

I don't think anybody has "spectacularly missed the point" but thanks for your superior analysis Snowflake, good to know somebody knows what everybody else should do! I shall look out for your positive lead and hope you succeed. Meantime perhaps the professional, well paid, carefully selec...

Re: Relegation Watch

Yeah Zip! you and people like you, (and me then as it happens) are utter, utter, bullying bastards, who are destroying the moral fibre of an entire squad. Perhaps we should kiss and make up or would that be contrued as sexual harassment by the precious princesses?

Re: Relegation Watch

Loving all the RFC fan hate. Seriously we let the players get away with being shit because it’s our fault right? This is passive victimhood at its finest. Couldn't agree more, surely the fan haters and critics can't have it both ways, "way too quiet" and totally disruptive and able to des...

Re: The fans alternative course of action.

It's the choice of the individual surely? Players should lead by example and give fans reason to become more vocal and positive, fans in turn, will respond! There hasn't been much to cheer this term, rewarding or celebrating and supporting mediocrity is not likely to improve the situation IMHO

It would take more than four of our players to pull that off, after all they can hardly collect points with three times as many!

Re: First team jetting off to Spain for intensive training

If they come back in top order, lean keen and eager to get stuck in positively then of course it's worthwhile. Do they always have such high ratios of staff to players?

Re: The alternative course of action now...

Boils down to give us something to cheer about and we will bloody well cheer then doesn't it? Take the piss and underperform and we will most likely express ourselves negatively! I've always believed Parky's run to the east stand and his enthusiasm took a modest amount of talent above and beyond the...

Re: The alternative course of action now...

I'm sorry l don't buy this we are shit fans and it's our fault and the atmosphere is making the team shit! They are well paid, selected individuals, prepared and groomed by a manager to give of their best in a cohesive way! When that happens we get excited, in adversity we get vociferous towards the...

Errr! Yes, but we are not and it does make a difference, especially when our direct competitors are improving and as often as not doing better than our paltry efforts!

Re: Boycott

Pants day was never about getting anybody removed, it was a peaceful offbeat way of letting the club know that we, the supporters had, had enough of being crap If a protest is about Stam out it should be something different. Something Dutch perhaps, edam well ought to go after all

Re: Rumour-Rickie Lambert

Can't believe everyone is overlooking the obvious solution. Sign Keith Scott for £250,000! Dark, dark days! Not entirely, he did roll up and volley a pair of pants into the east stand after scoring on pants day, proving he had a sense of humor, even if he had no sense of direction for the goalmouth...

If its to be Jaap Staam, then so be it and I wish him all the luck in the world, (like he would care) but I'm disturbed to think that in spite of all his pedigree in football our mysterious Thai owners concluded that he is the best choice for managing a chumpionship side and is it not ironic that he...
