Re: The very latest in Clement In/Out Polls

In - but its a 60/40 decision Was not a fan of the appointment, but he seems to have identified the issue with this group is down to mindset and attitude rather than raw talent. I think we have a tough January window ahead of us. We need to get players out but we also need to strengthen in some key ...

Re: BFTG - Ipshit H

I like his honesty. Unlike Stam is totally upfront about the team's performance. Calling the first half performance embarrassing live on radio was spot on. Sending a clear message to some of the players. Yes agree with his honesty but that can only take you so far. To keep saying that your team tha...

Re: Clement

The context is though that Clement was clearly given a rather limited budget to fill the gaps and I think has done OKish ... signed a few frees and somehow turned Meite into a striker. Others signings have been flops but that happens when you have limited budget ... I do think that another manager ...

Re: BFTG - Ipshit H

I more confident of it working now than before. With McCleary back and Meite shitting out goals it could work. Ezatolahi would make me a lot more confident though... Two in midfield 'worked' second half for a few reasons. Ipswich tired Ipswich decided to defend their lead and play on the break Ipsw...

Re: BFTG - Ipshit H

Elphick conceded 3 today We were appalling first half, though was impressed with Ipswich. The back 4 and keeper - Jesus they were sh1t. Time for the O Shea experiment to end. Yiadom is on dreadful form and that was Blackett at his worst (but he did well at CB later on) Midfield was rancid - though ...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

Their crap stadium, their kit, the awful parking and the quietest set of fans ever I just hate them. And I’m not really sure why Ok 5 visits and never seen us win might have something to do with it The fans really are the standout when it comes to crap. Surely the worst in the division. I agree, su...

Re: Worst RFC manager, statistically, after 23 league games.

Without sounding like John Smith, I can’t see us going down when there is dross like Bolton, Rotherham and Ipswich knocking about. We are (a little bit) better than that The ‘right’ manager would be able to knock out.a decent first 11 this year. I really didn’t think that was the case when PC took ...

Re: Worst RFC manager, statistically, after 23 league games.

For anyone interested in these things, Paul Clement has the worst record after 23 league games of any manager in Reading FC's entire history since we joined the Football League in 1920. http://i68.tinypic.com/qy7fv8.jpg No agenda, no comment, just the bare facts. As an aside, Brenda Bodgers never e...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Birmingham City (a) sponsored by Nigel Adkins last game

Man we're shit. Not for the first time, am watching us thinking just what are we trying to achieve? We seem to play like a group of players who vaguely know each other. They are all doing their thing, but there is no clear shape or direction to our play. Was taken to MadStad for my 60th by sons Sat...

I guess the one good thing was Meite scored again...

If he keeps going then we should be able to sell him to Derby for £18M in January.

Being chased across Propsect park after we scored a late goal to change the result.. I think it was about 1985?

I vaguely remember we scored late and then said lets go........... but they seemed to appear as we headed up Tilehurst Road..

Re: Solutions to problems (instead of moaning)

This afternoon I watched the youtube video of our record breaking 106 season, (all 2 hours 50 minutes of it) and it`s easy to forget the brilliant wingers we had then in Little Convey and Stephen Hunt. of course they had Murty and Shorey to link up with them, not ashamed to say it made me emotional...

Ex players goals

Took a last minute decision to wander down and watch Exeter this afternoon..

Would recommend checking out Pierce Sweeney's goal this evening.. absolute peach..

Both him and Jake Taylor put in a decently shift.

Great to get the updates from the Mad stad... please can we kick on now!
