Re: The poll for a new a manager

Other than the obvious Ian Royal choice the only option that intrigues me is the Cowley brothers. Been impressed with what they've built at Lincoln City. If the club is serious about "rebuilding" why not go with the people who have actually built something? When I saw them play Exeter, it...

Re: Clement sacked!

Wrong decision IMO as inherited bloated and injured squad and has never even had the likes of Obita or Harriott to select. Paying for previous poor acquisitions. Only major gripe was that he couldn't wake the squad up from the Stam tedium into any sort of an attacking unit. List of usual suspects b...

Re: On this day

On this day in 2009 a Brendan Rodgers led Reading side beat Sheffield Wednesday 0-2 at Hillsborough. Reading: Rasiak (49 mins), Cisse (67 mins). Reading: Federici, Ingimarsson, Bertrand, Pearce, McAnuff, Tabb, Cisse, Matejovsky, Sigurdsson (Gunnarsson, 65), Rasiak, Church (Kebe, 23). Subs not used:...

Re: FA cup 3rd round draw

The big question is surely "who will the 2 managers be on the day?" Remembering the 1-1 up there with our reserve team it was Bryn v Man Utd. The same in the replay when we were 3-0 down within the first 10 minutes or so but came back brilliantly to get to 3-2 and then didn't Bryn hit the...

OUT.

6ft 4" does not work well at QPR. Also, if you get a seat towards the back you can't see the goal in front of you.

I like old grounds, but I also like being able to use my legs/see things.

Re: Are we really going down this season

Yes we deserve to. Follow question..... would you prefer it if we go down? I know I would. This is the dumbest thing people keep saying The answer of course is maybe +1, there are 26 games of the season left, we aren’t even halfway yet. :| if we are in this exact position with 1 game to go I think ...

Re: FA cup 3rd round draw

Typical pathetic reaction on this thread. If we take 1,000....muppets will say "we've got crap away support". If we take 3,000+....muppets will say "day out for the daytrippers". I don't think it is pathetic. What is pathetic is that if daytrippers tag along for this, the same t...

Someone certainly has a chip on their shoulder regarding Dave Kitson. They should be glad he isn’t playing in today’s market as he would’ve been worth about 4x the £5m we got for him.

Hope the club are taking a long, hard look at themselves for not opening up the whole south stand for Stoke, who couldn’t even fill out their initial allocation

13 years ago. Oh yes, what a beauty. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Q68ch5w8sFY My 9 year old calls lobbed goals Glen Little goals, after I played clips of this goal repeatedly to him about a year ago. After posting that, I re-watched the highlights from the game. My God, I forgot how good Jobi's chance was, would've no doubt have been one of the best ever FA Cups goals.

Lincoln away would be nice for personal reasons (my uni town), winners of Plymouth v Oxford would obviously be great.

Anyone but Huddersfield or Championship would be fine tbh.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Leeds United (a) sponsored by Eric Nixon in goal

Can we please go one oxf*rd week on here without the "Gunter can't be shite he plays for Wales" argument. Please. Gunter played as a RWB for Wales, there were three center backs behind him liable for any mistakes. Ever since Giggs came in and switched to a back 4 he doesn't start. Would g...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Leeds United (a) sponsored by Eric Nixon in goal

Just one thing on Gunter. Should not be committing a fowl throw at all, however, you see so many people do it but never get called on it. De Silva for BC did it about 4 times, quite blatantly, and never got called for it.
