Re: Reading v Bolton Match 4 Prediction League

No idea of a possible score, but just wanted to point out that Parky already has 706 managerial matches under his belt, with Saturday' being his 707th. It's incredible to think he has been a league manager for 15½ years! Where does the time go?! Also he has played 5 matches v RFC as manager and has ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Derby County (h) sponsored by a new hope

Mmm. Better than just about any game you care to mention from last season. Can now see why Walker was bought. Yiadom and Richards looked good, as did Ilori surprisingly. Seem to remember we lost our opener at home 1-2 at the start of 2005/06 season! Just saying! No way Derby deserved 3 points.

Re: CONFIMRED - Sam Walker

So we can't score in a brothel and Clement signs another reserve keeper?? An ex-mate from his Chelsea days to boot.

Weird one. Any news on a striker RFC?? You know, one that can score goals in the LCh??

Re: Fixtures

Remember a few years back teams like Mansfield occasionally turning up in the south section of the football league trophy to balance up the numbers, which gives an idea of the balance of north/south in the footy league. Mansfield is proper northern. In the days of Division 3N and Division 3S, I thi...

Re: Season 2018/2019

If we finish 10th - 14th, AND play with a bit more passion, AND actually have some shots on target, (is 4-6 a game too much to ask for?), then for me it will have been a successful season.

Re: RUMOUR - Marc McNulty

Must admit having gone to play off final (mates who are Cov fans and eldest spawn at Exeter so have seen them a couple of times, too) and the comment about McNulty not being an athlete seems spot on. Lots of hustle and bustle and good runs but he's a midget and, shall we say, he has a low Centre of...

Ex Braintree Town, but don't recall noticing him when down there. Let us hope he's another Linvoy Primus!

Meaningless Stats and Trivia from 2017/18 - 1

Well the sun disappeared almost as soon as I'd suggested I would start this thread when I got bored and the weather turned, so here we go. First off is a look at our goal attempts this season, and see if any conclusions whatsoever may be drawn. During the season I have copied the Press Association t...

Re: BFTT Cardiff

Good afternoon all, and hope you are enjoying the sun. Back from Leeds v QPR on Sunday, and watched our match on Sky+. Couple of immediate points - Cardiff aren't very good are they? I reckon they'll be back down after a single season. Mannone didn't have a shot in anger to save IIRC. Cardiff did ha...

Re: Cardiff City (A)

I cannot even bring myself to watch Sky on Sunday. Instead I will be at Elland Road in the DB taking in the atmosphere of a "big" club. It will be interesting to see the fans' reaction should the fake hoops take the lead. Then off to the LUFC players' end of season do. I am expecting to be...

Re: Building for next season

To use an Americanism, I've got nothing. I simply cannot see a way out of the morass. Poor old PC has got a right job on his hands over the summer. I just hope he has had sufficient time since his arrival to identify who needs to be moved out, who is worth persevering with and who of the Academy can...

Re: Back from the ****

Surely Arsene Wenger should be on that list? Not that I need to check that it’s 0%!!!!!!!!! Spot on - the eagle-eyed would have spotted that the original list was only those managers who had managed 5 or more opponents games at the MadStad. Not sure if that was actually the question, so if not apol...

Re: Back from the ****

I would imagine Fulham and their fans will be resigned to their fate when they see who Cardiff are playing next week. would they want to put a full shift in when they know we are certainties to lose? What's worse is Colin could have the last laugh at the club whose been a constant nemesis for him a...

Has this been our worst ever seen at home since our establishment in 1871? It must be close In the 2012-13 PL season, our home record was P19 W4 D8 L7 F23 A32 In the 1987-88 Old D2 season, our home record was P22 W5 D7 L10 F20 A25 and this season it's P23 W5 D8 L10 F23 A35. Re: MATCHWATCH : Ipswich Town (h) sponsored by just do it!

Good afternoon everyone, been away for a while, and just this minute got back to log on .... and wish I hadn't bothered coming back!

Goodness me that sounds awful. Frankly I can't see how this squad can get us out of the doo-doo.

Colin is going to be a very happy man come next Sunday.

Oh dear,
