Re: Rival Watch

Regardless of the goals or points they have given QPR. The point I was trying to make was the transfer embargo was no punishment for there overspending. They were still able to splash cash on loan signings. Why did they not get a points deduction?

Re: Rival Watch

13 goals plus assists 8 points clear of the relegation zone. They are two Premier league players on big salaries. I would take those two over Mietie and Baldock

Re: Rival Watch

It's like QPR they were given a transfer ban then straight away bought in Wells and Hamed two big money loan signings for the whole season. There goals have kept them clear of the relegation zone.

Re: Rival Watch

So they drop to 41 points a couple of wins they will stay up. They have some very good players Harley Dean and Jota to name two. They paid big money for. We got rid of our big earners to comply with fair play and may still go down. If they send us down on the last day of the season. Will the punishm...

Re: Reading FC Womens World

Are the semis at neutral venues? Semi final will be at home. West Ham would have been our preferred opponent, but we have yet to beat them. We drew at their place and lost at ours, so this will be far from easy Yesterday was a good performance and good that the girls kept going, when they started g...

51 Academy players

The club love to bang on about how great our academy is with 51 players now played for the first team. In reality how many have been any good? For every Gylfi, Pearce, Obita ect.. There have been loads who have played a few games and disappeared to non league football. The reality is 4 of the last 5...

Looking at that no chance of staying up. Can’t see us winning any and in a couple we will be slaughtered.

Re: Rival Watch

NewCorkSeth QPR are doing this on purpose.

QPR beat Leeds then lose to Rotherham. The other sides like Millwall and Rotherham show fight and spirit and get results against top teams we just lay down and die.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Leeds United (h) sponsored by Brian McDermott

Plenty of Leeds so called fans in the East stand, some wearing shirts a couple got chucked out when the first goal went in. They must have RFC memberships do the stewards confescate there cards?

Re: BFTG Leeds Home

This was no different to Saturday we were terrible then but got away with it because Wigan lacked quality in the final third. Tonight every time we gave the ball away cheaply in midfield Leeds punished us. Fortunately for us the hapless Banford was up front a decent striker and the score would have ...

Re: Gomez tactics may still take us down

The tactics yesterday were totally wrong. Whilst passing from the back is admirable, when you have a bumpy pitch a swirling wind you play to the conditions. We were overrun in midfield, when we did have the ball our first thought was to go backwards we did not look comfortable at any stage. The last...

Re: Bftg- Wigan (h)

I don’t know if Gomes is good or just a lucky manager. We were so bad despite the result I can’t give anyone man of the match. We seemed obsessed with passing backwards and sideways, we created nothing and we’re 2nd best for the vast majority of the game.. we can’t keep being lucky and scrape last m...

19 years ago today, Oxford 1 - 3 Reading. Well and truly exorcising the horror of our 1998 trip to the Manor.
