Re: An analysis of promoted teams in the play-off era

I think our poor defensive record and poor goal difference gets skewed by the odd away thrashings we've had. Otherwise we're a fairly consistent side.

Re: How are you getting to Wembley?

We have a couple of car loads leaving from Fleet, Hants and planning on driving to Ruislip Manor Underground station (where they have a large outdoor car park), and then catching the tube into Wembley. If anyone else is in the Fleet area and wants to join us and make a URZ Blue & White convey t...

Re: Where are you all sitting (Roll Call)

I just hope there aren't any sitters in Block 110 who insist on sitting down in the seats that they paid for and moaning if others stand up. And if anyone is there with kids, they better encourage them to stand on their seats so they can see (otherwise should have gone in family section). Got into ...

As this is the last match thread of the season, I will say thanks Sutekh for the effort you put into these, lest we go back to the times where people would make one without a snappy pun in the title (I know there isn't one in this one!) or when there wasn't a match thread at all.

I'm optimistic about the takeover, they actually have their own money and have been saying the right things so far.

Of course I was optimistic about Anton as well.

Yeah but this time we've set the rules better : ST can by a +1 in the first round.

That's a fair point, I'd forgotten we did 1 per member card for that game.

Re: Reading to play in home kit apparently.......

I did wonder which team would get the honour of playing in their home kit since all 4 teams would arguably have clashed, certainly Sheff Wed, Hudders and us do. My only assumption was that it would probably go to the team who finished higher up in the table.

Jonathon Swift, spokesman for the EFL, said: "The EFL can confirm that they have no objections to the change of control application made by Reading Football Club.

So that's how we forced it through, John Swift pulling double duty.

What was that shit at the end from Huddersfield? One last chance to nick a late winner, no chance of reply but instead they just pass it amongst the defence for 30 seconds.

Just started watching that stream and first thing said was "That Jonathan Swift miss of last night", I take it that it's in reference to someone missing a sitter then.

Re: Who do we want, then?

While I think Wednesday are the better side, Huddersfield always seem to look very good against us, so went for Wednesday.
