Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (h) sponsored by a nice quiet evening out

I went to school with the Cardiff keeper, I'll have to see if he remembers me (probably does and probably doesn't care), otherwise I'm sure he hopes he has a better game than the last time he came to the Madejski which was with Walsall conceding 3 and getting injured.

Re: Rival Watch

Wasnt the one at home 5 or 6 nil? I remember against millwall it was 5-0/1 at home. Adrian Sirioux had to go in goal when their keeper got sent off. 5-0 against Millwall 5-1 (H) and 5-2 (A) against Cardiff Lol, one team out of 23 providing 10% of our 99 goals. Was Leeds the only team we didn't beat...

I believe he's still recovering from injury which has hindered his ability to find a new club.

Re: Rival Watch

I also remember us seemingly destroying teams at times. Sheff Weds, Cardiff, Derby, Millwall spring to mind. I have not seen a team be so dominent in games since us back then. Cannot remember wolves turning anybody over. We thrashed Cardiff home and away that season, they must have been sick of us....

Re: Rival Watch

The difficulty of getting past 106 is you literally have to keep it going until game 46 which is difficult if the league is wrapped up a few games before, this affected Northampton the other year who had a real chance well in to April. The year we got 106, we managed to keep it going right until th...

We've played them twice, once we won 2-1, the other they won 1-0.

Are you thinking of the 6-0 thrashing by Peterborough during Adkins first season?

Re: BFTG Sunderland

I still get a sense of dread anytime I see Mannone get the ball passed back to him while an opposition player is near and I do think that is still from experiencing Al Habsi in goal because, to his credit, Mannone looks very comfortable even under pressure.

Re: Relegation

If you look at their form before and after December it reads:

Before Dec: W9, D7, L3
Dec and after: W4, D6, L17

So it's only a 62.9% loss rate but still pretty bad, they did go down with 52pts which must be one of the highest points tallies to be relegated on.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Barnsley (h) sponsored by freezing cold Tuesday night football

...no bookings (either team) is that a first this season? How was the ref? (Just asking for paultheroyal) Dunno who but a Barnsley player got a yellow for pulling back our player when he looked clean through. Can't really complain about the red overall, maybe let a few too many things go unpunished.
