Re: MATCHWATCH : Swansea City Reserves (h) still looking for a sponsor

Next up is the battle of two largely "reserve" teams in the next round of the league cup As we know the FL allows teams to play weakened teams in this competition with no fear of punishment. Therefore the chances are that while Reading will field a stronger starting XI than previous round...

Re: Rival Watch

Dunno but I was taking that as well deserved praise for your exceptionally accurate depictions of 'Arry..... IMO he'd make a spiral staircase look straight - which is objectionable enough on its own, but I'd maybe tolerate that if he showed even the slightest degree of competence. Hi leon, there wa...

Re: Shocking and disgusting behaviour

I mean blue smoke and chanting football fans is a pretty good give away it wasn't anything particularly sinister. Definitely obnoxious and probably very irritating if you were a normal passenger on the train but football fans in general are that. Don't really get why everyone is getting upset over ...

Re: BFTG Bees

The direct wording of the backpass rule is that the keeper cannot pick up a ball passed back to him, the rule also prevents players doing tricks to bypass the backpass rule such as flicking the ball up and heading it back. If so I'm not sure where it would fall under the situation yesterday and I ca...

Looks like I gave Reading the motivation they needed.

That said they still look toothless in attack and vulnerable on the counter

We look toothless in attack and Brentford hitting us well on the break, feels like only a matter of time until 2-0.

We were doing fine until Brentford scored, we are so mentally fragile.

FFS, I'm actually starting to get worried about how this season is going, I know we're only 7 games in but this is definitely not what I expected.

That said Brentford have lost a lot of points from winning positions so here's hope.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bristol City (h) sponsored by a surfeit of midfielders

I'm upset at the result but they were stupid lucky to get anything today, let alone a win.

Could have easily had a man sent off first half, should have scored ourselves and their only decent chance was their goal

Re: Bristol City (H) Predictions

Bristol City sold out their allocation of 3100 tickets but still have pay on the day available. Expected attendance is around 3400ish according to website. Should be a great atmosphere. Games against Bristol City are always good in that respect They've been especially good in recent history since w...

Re: Next 6 Games

Not so convinced as yet. There seems to be a wave of optimism based mainly on beating a team who (according to their own manager) have been outplayed in all of their games so far. Down to earth in the next match, followed by more steady improvement... Bristol City (H) - L Brentford (A) - D Hull (H)...

Fulham, Preston, Sunderland and Boro all away in that run to 14 games, if they win 14 in a row they've well and truly earned it and frankly would probably threaten 106 as well if they could do that.

Or in other words, it ain't happening!

I looked at the September fixtures earlier and really, we could win the lot, I'm not envisioning a lot of dropped points this month.
