Re: Ex Players

Granted URZ but there are some players who work harder for their money than others,

I think it’s fair comment.

Re: STs for season 2019/2020

You'd be amazed tmesis, you'd be amazed. I've seen things from the trenches you wouldn't believe. Some proper horror stories with career changing injuries. Things I have learnt from the software development trenches (1) Clients are idiots (2) Project managers are idiots (3) Migration is always shit...

Re: STs for season 2019/2020

I've no idea why accounts couldn't have been passed over automatically. It's a basic IT task. Really shoddy from the club. Not sure about "simple", system migrations can be a minefield - just ask TSB. If you are moving huge amounts of data, yes. If you are just setting up contact details ...

Re: Financial Fair Play

The game as a whole is unsustainable. I guess you have to accept that these days you are at the behest of a billionaire playing real life fantasy football with your club. That said, I think we can take some comfort in being a pretty attractive club to foreign investment (championship side, near enou...

What do you have to prove and play for, Green?

Very little tbh leon, I've been there and done it.

Happy to see out my days in a cushy gig.

Re: On this day

Tranmere 1 Reading 3 - PO SF 1st Leg. In all my years, this was the most perfect away performance I ever witnessed. Tranmere were played off the park and their fans showed their appreciation at the end. A brilliant, brilliant day. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwxI5e06HXU JM also cam into the awa...

Re: RFC to become the 4th...

Is “The league” still a thing in this context, why such a cutoff between division 4 and the conference?

Presumably used to be an amateur/professional thing but those lines are blurred now, as are associations running the things following the formation of the premier league.

Re: New Training Ground

Weren’t the academy supposed to be by last xmas? This really is dragging along, especially as we were told the Chinese made some changes of their own to put their stamp on it, yet we haven’t been told or shown what those changes are, or received any visual updates on the building work. Not sure how...

Re: Next season

Looking at the teams coming down Fulham, Cardiff, Huddersfield, and those coming up Luton, Barnsley +1 do not look as strong as last season Hopefully we can at least get mid table Thanks for keeping up your streak of making a completely pointless thread. You've had a great season. How would you rat...
