Re: MATCHWATCH : Ipswich Town (a) sponsored by a Steve Richardson goal

Their forum is a mess btw... no sub-forums so every topic is mixed in with every other, so you've got threads on Brexit mixed with Cricket and General Football, let alone Ipswich-related stuff.

Re: BFTG - Cardiff

Missed the Simod Cup on account of not existing at the time. I went to Bolton as a 6 year old and apparently cried all the way home. Shouldn't feel bad about that. I woke up sobbing uncontrollably in the middle of the night after that game. And I hadn't long become a parent in my early 30s! Thank G...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Ipswich Town (a) sponsored by a Steve Richardson goal

Ipswich have had a strange first half of the season... won their first 5 in a row, then lost 8 out of the next 11 games, and have been pretty much even stevens since then with 3 wins 2 draws and 2 defeats.

Finding it hard to call this one tbh.

I'm glad we've established that titles wins don't count if the current crop of fans aren't old enough to remember it.

I like this system, Snowball. I haven't got a prediction right all season and yet I'm 11th.

Re: RUMOUR - Declan John

We might have plans to sell Blackett, as well. He's not even been picked since THAT video on Twitter... WHICH video do you speak of? It's long since been taken down but it was a video that Liam Kelly accidentally shared on Snapchat (then reposted on Twitter) of Blackett stark naked in the changing ...

Re: BFTG - Cardiff

Summarising the general consensus on the thread and faking your own match report as a "Reading" fan?

What a sad act. Chelsea are playing tonight, by the way.

Re: BFTG - Cardiff

Trying not to be too influenced by conceding two late goals, it was a pretty good display Cardiff have won their last 4, are second in the table and we were comfortably beating them until 70 mins. Then a couple of balls fell for them in the box, they hit the woodwork and it bounces in, we then hit ...

RUMOUR - Declan John

Pete O'Rourke‏ @SportsPeteO
Reading have joined the race for Rangers loanee Declan John. #readingfc #rangers #CardiffCity

Pete O'Rourke is usually pretty reliable - broke the Aluko transfer I think

Re: BFTG - Cardiff

I think you can divide that game up into neat quarters

We were rubbish until we scored
Then great until half time
We were solid if unthreatening until Warnock got sent off
Then we were pants again

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (h) sponsored by a nice quiet evening out

Geez, people have short memories. Villa, Barnsley and Forest were far, far worse than Cardiff. By a long way.

I agree that I didn't think the game was hugely entertaining, like some are saying.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cardiff City (h) sponsored by a nice quiet evening out

To be honest, this result has been coming under Stam. We've been 2-0 up in many games under him and let the other side back in with a late goal - Villa at home this season, Sheff Weds, Barnsley, Bristol City, Brighton, Blackburn We just usually see the game out, today we didn't. Was bound to happen ...

For one of the best centre backs of the past 25 years, Stam can't organise a defence for sh*t.

Cardiff were a different side in the second half, we far dropped too deep and I don't think I saw "Stam's style" at all.

Annoying, but we did exactly the same to Bolton a few weeks ago, just got murked
