Can you imagine the sky oxf*rd if Derby play Chelsea?

For that reason alone I prefer Villa to go up.

Yeah, I mean, there is no one linked to Chelsea on the Villa staff...

It'll be fine. JT will refuse to coach against Chelsea as a sign of respect.

As if. He'll turn up in full kit.

Re: Champions League & Europa League 2018/19

Easy to forget that Spurs got just a point from their first three group games, and needed an 85th minute equaliser at Barcelona to reach the knockout stages (scored by Lucas Moura, of course). They'd have gone out without Harry Kane's 89th minute winner against PSV too, in their fourth group game. ...

Re: Champions League & Europa League 2018/19

literally leapt up off the sofa celebrating that winner last night, and I couldn't give a f*ck about Spurs, if anything their fans are even more unbearable than most so happy to lol if they lose. What an impressive semi Yep my shout of "That's Un-fcuking-believable" even brought Mrs S. ba...

Re: Champions League & Europa League 2018/19

I'd be careful writing Spurs off. They are even more points behind Man City and beat them. Dortmund, Ajax - people said they'd smash Spurs, they didn't. They had to go to the Nou Camp and get a result to progress through the group stages, they did.

All the pressure will be on Liverpool.

Re: Champions League & Europa League 2018/19

Ascotexgunner Something like 78 years combined since either has won a league title. And they can be called Champions of Europe. One is 23 points behind the other in the league........UEFA really should drop the name "Champions" from the title.

No need to be sore :D

Re: Rival Watch

We're doing well on that front at the moment.

Norwich, Sheffield United, Bolton, Ipswich, Rotherham gone

Fulham, Brighton/Cardiff confirmed replacing them

Then maybe Luton, Portsmouth, Charlton to come up as well

Re: Rival Watch

Would prefer Boro to go up as it gets another non-descript Northern team out of the division and off our schedule next year. Villa, West Brom and Leeds are better away days and far more interesting games

Plus I can't be doing with Leeds winning the playoffs

Re: Rival Watch

agreed you should play to the whistle, that's the law, but the Leeds player feigned putting the ball out of play, the Villa players stopped for 5 seconds, then the Leeds player initiated the attacking move. Bielsa was definitely correct in what he did. I think they only did because they've basicall...

Re: Rival Watch

Talking of which ^^^^ Five minutes of pure. classic, dirty Leeds … 0-0, Kodija kicked out the game, lying injured, Leeds don't put the ball out, dummy to put the ball out, go on instead, score, heavy handbags ensue in penalty area and touchline, Bamford fakes being head-butted and gets Villa man se...
