Re: MATCHWATCH : Birmingham City (h) sponsored by dull cup draws r us

I'm expecting a win tonight, considering I've literally never heard of half of Birmingham's starting XI

And their goalie is Lee Camp

Also read today that they've ditched the ABBA format they used in penalty shoot-outs last season.

Re: Martin Ødegaard

Did well at Heerenveen last year. My concern is he would bring some baggage and Madrid are apparently demanding he would have to play if available. Fine if he performs but if he isn't and blocks the path for others, could be terrible for morale. Cardiff had this with Grujic last year, didn't they? ...

Re: Best/Worst Pundit

Is it possible to praise anyone female in a male-dominated industry without being accused of white-knighting? No wonder this whole thing is a problem. I was just giving praise where I thought praise was due, I would've said the same if it was a new male pundit up against Carra and Souness. Sounds li...

Re: Best/Worst Pundit

Had to laugh at Carra and Souness getting completely shown up by Alex Scott yesterday. She was pulling obscure stats out of nowhere - great research and preparation. Really good.

Re: Record Watch 2018/19

Sadly, I think Leeds could beat the 106. They are the one team in the country that I would hate to do this. Happy for any other team to beat the record. Just not Leeds. Every season this happens. One team starts well (as inevitably someone will) and some of our fans start worrying. Relax. Wol...

Re: Forest (A) match thread

Deffo need to look in the loan market for some goal threat. It’s one thing performing well, but if we’re not putting away our chances then we won’t win games. Having said that, I’m not hugely concerned about us. We’ve had a tough start against two promotion contenders, played well in both games, and...

Re: Liam Moore to Brighton

Well done to Moore for learning Mandarin so quickly and speaking to the owners. Perhaps he could have put his little transfer request in when the bid came in rather than wait three weekd and disrupting our preparations so close to the beginning of the new season. How do we know that he didn’t do ex...

Re: Liam Moore to Brighton

Some of the Brighton fans are a bit sour on NSC. "Translation “Brighton lost interest, I need to back peddle now”" "Translation = I wanted to move, still do. I hate the owner, preventing me from progressing my career, both from a footballing perspective and financially. The fans will ...

Re: Liam Moore Hypocrite or Hero?

Get over it. Why would any player want to stay in this current Reading setup when we have zero ambition to reach the premier league? If there was any doubt before the transfer window about the clubs intentions, that's been put to bed with the huge lack of investment in our squad while the genuine p...
