Re: Ingerlund Vs Tunisia

At the bar I was at: Limbs everywhere, pints thrown, chairs in the air, people on tables. Football's Coming Home blasting at full time. Forget the rest of the match, that's why the World Cup is so bloody great. Where was that? i want to avoid it, i dont mind a bit of atmoshere, but getting drenched...

Re: World Cup Punditry

Watching the highlights back, disappointed with the goal commentary from Mowbray tonight. Deserved more enthusiasm.

In fact, both of them were overly negative in the 2nd half.

Re: Ingerlund Vs Tunisia

52 years of hurt? Depends where you start counting from... defeat by Scotland in the Home Internationals in '67? Defeat in the European Championships in '68? Or defeat to the West Germans in '70? Not 52 years, anyway (unless you're a Scot). I blame Baddiel and Skinner. 1966 obviously. I see what EG...

Re: World Cup Punditry

They're all pcunts but I've been particularly rattled by Matterface and Pearce with their pre-planned anecdotes that they insist on going through regardless of what is happening on the pitch, can't remember which match it was but Pearce was telling some story about a previous world cup and his co-c...

World Cup Punditry

Anyone particular you have enjoyed? Loathed? Some "special" moments over the weekend. My favourites: Patrice Evra clapping Eni Aluko - possibly the most patronising thing I've ever seen Slaven Bilic asked for his views on an incident and saying "to be honest, I don't care" Roy Ke...

Seriously, how completely chuffing mental are Leicester and Southampton?

Guess that means everyone in the Championship will be asking even more ridiculous sums for their players and what’s even more ridiculous is that clubs will pay it.

Re: World Cup 2018

Whether it was a penalty or not (I actually thought it was outside the area at first), the fact it's highly debatable means the decision shouldn't have been changed.
