Re: MATCHWATCH : Nottingham Forest (a) sponsored by things can only get better

Good news: Forest have just had Lihaj sent off and he’ll miss the game against us. Bad news: they are playing Burton and we probably would be better off if Forest won. They had two shots all game against Burton. Seems like they're struggling as much up front as we are and will be there for the taki...

Re: Who could replace Stam?

I can't trawl through over twenty pages to see all the names suggested but a massive 'No' to Redknapp, Warnock and McClaren - all dinosaurs from the past! I'd take Nigel Clough. Burton will probably go down but he has worked wonders on a small budget and Reading are surely a more attractive proposit...

Re: BFT Appalling mess at home

We have a talented squad of players - probably the most talented since our record-breaking squad 2005 - 2007. We have an experienced (in playing terms) manager who took us to the play-off final last year. Since that play-off final we have strengthened the side with Barrow, Bacuna, Edwards, Aluko (Ye...

Not a single shot on goal so far according to Auntie - that's on or off target. Millwall are 5 and 1.

6 minutes 42 in. Not only a decent angle of the incident but you can also pretty well work out what the referee sees. No real complaints.

I agree. And that link you shared was a fair and honest assessment of the game from a youngster.

Re: CONFIMRED - Chris Martin (loan)

FWIW my fanatical Fulham-supporting mate reckons we have done good business to secure Martin (who did well at Fulham). However, like any other striker, he will need chances to be made for him. If we can't create those chances he can't score them even though he has the knack of being in the right pos...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stevenage (h) sponsored by it all changing for the better at last

Half decent display but the first 30 minutes were worrying, Stevenage arguably could have scored a couple of goals and in phases were all over us. That's true. We were probably marginally better than in the first game during that opening period but there was not much in it. We were second best. How...

Re: BFTG - Stevenage

Fans need to get behind the team - players need to understand the fans frustrations. Well said MR. It is a two-way relationship and that relationship has broken down which can only be bad for the immediate future of the club we love. So all kudos to the two senior players who have spoken from their...

It wasn't just his goal kicks (many of which he kicked out of play!). When he had made a save and with Stevenage committed to attack, he failed to release the ball quickly to set up a counter attack.

BFTG - Stevenage

And I thought our performance against Birmingham was bad!!! First the excuses - the pitch was not great and it was very windy. Now the reality - we were outplayed by a mid Div 2 side. They had 12 shots (5 on target) to our 6 shots (2 on target) and 11 corners to our 1!! I lost count of the times we ...
