Re: MATCHWATCH : Nottingham Forest (a) sponsored by things can only get better

Good news: Forest have just had Lihaj sent off and he’ll miss the game against us. Bad news: they are playing Burton and we probably would be better off if Forest won. They had two shots all game against Burton. Seems like they're struggling as much up front as we are and will be there for the taki...

Re: Where will the next points come from?

I actually think the next two away games are where we could pick up points. Our away form has actually been ok (league wise), especially compared to the home form - think we have only lost to Sheff Utd, Ipswich and Bristol C since September? Boro will be a tough game, but they are only 9th, then For...

But will be moved to Tuesday 13th. March, if a replay is required for Sheffield Utd., according to RFC's website.

Why not just play it on the 13th March. Won't look good if they have to rearrange again with a week and a half's notice?

Re: MATCHWATCH : Millwall (h) sponsored by looking for a win at home on a Saturday

Be interesting to see what Jaap does with the team Would think Elphick would start. Guessing we’ll go same team as started against Burton but Elphick for Aluko as was the substitution I was a bit confused by that sub to be honest. Did we revert from a 4-4-2 (ish) to 3-5-2 when Elphick came on? That...

Re: BFTG - Stevenage

I really don't know what to think about everything that went on today. I guess the result is not a disaster but it would have been much better to have done the job today. Looking at the other results, it looks like a number of other clubs have struggled against lower league opposition. Onto the main...

Re: BFTG - Wolves

What is very concerning is the amount of times we have conceded in the opening 20 minutes, especially at home. Once this happens teams will always sit back and we find it very difficult to break them down.

Re: BFTG - Ramming the Rams

Really good win, looked pretty comfortable from the start although it always helps when you go 2 up inside 15 mins. I saw the Derby warm up before the game and they did not look up for it, I'm not surprised Keogh pulled a muscle after 5 mins. Nobody played badly, Beerens is not a lone striker howeve...

Wasn't his full debut against Derby - came on as a sub.

Ah, missed the word full.

Don't think he ever got a start did he in a league game. Such a shame because he was on fire in that game,

Re: Leeds v RFC Back from the Tele

On the train back now. Really good performance and definitely deserving the three points. Limited Leeds to very few chances while having quite a few ourselves. Thought we played a 4-2-3-1 formation, or a variant of 4-3-3. Player ratings: Manonne 7 - didn't have a lot to do until the 92nd minute. Poo...

Re: Jaap's Radio Comments

It would of been even more of a masterstroke if Stam had brought Bodvarsson on much earlier, or even started with him! Not sure why no one has mentioned this. Bodvarsson started last week and offered very little, if you had watched him last week you could see why he wasn't picked yesterday. Stam de...

Re: Leeds (A)

I'm disappointed that the club have not done anything to subsidise the tickets - which could be paid for by making 4000 extra Leeds fans pay an extra £5 in March. They were very quick in the PR effort to subsidise the Man Utd tickets last year, sadly they won't do the same for the 500 or so who migh...

Re: Sunderland Crap

The irony of people from Sunderland commenting and criticising other areas of the uk. As someone who has been up at uni in the North East for the past 4 years and have gone to watch Sunderland on a couple of occasions, I would just like to say how much I am looking forward to revisiting one of the m...

Re: Play off Away Leg

Managed to buy these pretty quickly this morning, thought it was going to take an awful lot longer. I've managed to accumulated 4125. Had a season ticket since 2002-03 and probably on average been to around 15 away games a season. I do think the Royalty Points system works in principle but I think i...

Away allocation for home play off game

Just wondering whether we will offer half or the whole of the South stand to away fans for the Play offs. Personally I would only like to give them half of it. Fulham and Sheff Wed would fill it and Huddersfield probably fill most of it. Just want them to be able to create as little atmosphere as po...

Re: Who do you want in the playoffs?

http://www.owlstalk.co.uk/forums/topic/254435-who-do-you-want-then/ God I really don't like Wednesday. Can't disagree with them that they are probably the most complete team. Will be a really hard to team to beat. I'd want to avoid Wednesday, they've won 6 on the trot and I think we may have used u...

Re: Burton Away

Have we had the sales meltdown yet? Anyone managed to get one? Picked up my one in the ticket office this morning. Was a couple of people in there but didn't seem that there was a massive rush going on. I think the 12pm KO may mean that these will take slightly longer to sell. It will be a pretty e...

Why is this on the Saturday does anyone know? Thought it might be because Birmingham were at home but they aren't Not delighted by us having 2 games in 3 days at this stage of the season even if the 2nd one is vs Rotherham My guess is that is because one of the clubs refused to move the game. I thi...

Re: Back from the game - Norwich

Just got back. Awful day, awful performance. Had a very pre-season friendly feel about it in the first 10 minutes. Despite going behind early, I thought Norwich were allowing us onto them and we would get back in the game. Sadly I think we were the ones who thought we were on the beach. Everyone was...

Re: Next Few Games

Blackburn have only lost 1 in 10 but are away at Brighton on the 1st. If they get something there then they should have confidence and that game would be far from an easy 3 points.
