Re: England - the future....

I think that's a very reasonable selection from Southgate, a lot of those players have had very successful seasons and im not sure id have made any changes to the squad

Re: CONFIMRED - Dave Edwards

So basically Old Man Andrews is talking absolute bollox ... Edwards is in his early 30s, he's hardly going to agree to anything less than his full contract, unless he knows he can find another contract elsewhere ... and anyway the club would be seriously mad to pay off the wages of a player who has...

Re: CONFIMRED - Dave Edwards

*Player You wouldn't need to pay him anywhere near the full amount of his wages. The norm for players of his age and contract length is to sit down with their agents and explain that he is not in the clubs future plans and won't get game time. The two parties come to an arrangement to then cancel t...

Re: England - the future....

Really looking forward to the World Cup, the greatest sporting event in the world. I think Southgate deserves a lot of credit. he has been a breathe of fresh air for England. My starting line up would look like this Pickford Trippier Walker (really like his as a CB) Stones Maguire Rose/Betrand Hende...

Re: Summer Transfers

The overhaul should be of training methods, coaching and fitness rather than players imo A proper pre-season fixture schedule would seem a must As would an overhaul of the medical/sports science set-up. Would be nice to try and enter a friendly cup competition, lots of photo ops which in turn, boos...

Re: Goodbye

I'm not necessarily trying to judge him now, maybe im not communicating my point right, but our performances under him have been awful not giving me much confidence for next year, and I don't think it would be right to praise him for keeping us up. I think anyone would've done to be honest. Very un...

Re: Goodbye

The "better understanding" with the squad would have seen us relegated - Stam's time is gone. The only understanding Clement needs is which of these players he feels he can work with next season to get an improved performance out of them and then identify players he wants. He has made it ...

Re: Goodbye

I am concerned abut next season, I don't think Clement is the right man for the job and would much rather still have Stam in charge, as I think he probably had a better understanding with the squad. But his results weren't good enough, I would still get rid of clement though The "better unders...
