Re: The Non - League thread

Re: The Non - League thread

With the Royal's inclusion into the Berks and Bucks cup this year it will be a good chance for some of our fans to experience some of the delights of the local non-league grounds!

Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackburn Rovers (a) sponsored by 3 league wins in 2018

weirdly optimistic about this one as the players will have everything to prove with less pressure being away from home at a pretty quiet stadium. Think we will win this one 1-0, heres hoping

Bacuna should be in for Kelly. He is just better. Kelly is sadly not a particularly good player and I can’t see him getting better

Front 3 + Barrow will improve

Kelly is a much better player than Bacuna and he actually gives a damn about the club

Re: BFTG Birmingham

,and I agree with those posters who feel that non-regulars should be encouraged and not frowned upon. At least they got better value than for the Burton game last season . Ermmm, no. Those people who had no interest in being there, didn’t watch the football and talked non football related shite non...

Re: The Non - League thread

Far too early to start commenting on table etc. but has anyone been to Maidenhead yet ? Is their slow start down to misfortune and early season mistakes or could they be in for a tough season with 4 relo spots up for grab Yeah think this will be a long, hard season for them. Can see them going down...

Re: BFTG Birmingham

Went into this game with little excitement yet it proved to be very enjoyable. Good all round team performance and 2 nice goals against pretty feeble opposition. Bring on saturday and a decent draw on thursday :?

Re: The Non - League thread

I went to the FA cup tie at Scours Lane to have a look at Reading City take on Chipping Sodbury. The ground was tidy and had a fair attendance, a few more 'Sods' fans than I would of thought. RC took the lead and things looked rosy until the Sods equalised as the long ball proved too much for Readin...

Glad he's stayed with us and his message to RFC fans was pretty truthful and fair. Good luck to him this season, we will need him

Re: MATCHWATCH : Derby County (h) sponsored by a new hope

After the summer break it was a tough reminder of how harsh football can be. Forgot how good some of our players actually are, Barrow was terrific and got a great assist! Yiadom was very good, Meylor was MOTM and Kelly put in some great balls. Only player i can really go in on is Mannone for that fi...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Derby County (h) sponsored by a new hope

Feel the most confident as I ever have so far this pre season, we might not be totally screwed if a few payers click and remain injury free we may surprise ourselves on Friday night against a team who is under pressure to perform from the off

Re: The Non - League thread

I was thinking about the Salford project the other day and wondered if I would want that to happen to my local club, they are unrecognisable in every single way to how they were 10 years ago. Part of the fun of non-league is the scaping and clawing to get by and those great days when you have an FA...

Re: Season 2018/2019

I feel we need to get rid of some dead wood such as edwards, blackett, evans etc. as having unhappy players in the squad isnt good for anyone and keeps the negative mood around the club imo
