Re: Bobby Madley

A lot of people seem to be pretty sure it is him in the video, I don't think I want to look at any part of it so won't be verifying for myself. Very odd. Please embelish on the content of said video please It is said that there is a video of Madley enjoying sexy time with his dog. However.....I've ...

Bobby Madley

Very weird one this. Always quite liked Bobby Madley as a referee. Madley has quit refereeing with immediate effect 'due to a change in personal circumstances'. PGMOL say only that they believe 'he has decided to relocate'. Every news story on this is very short, simply because no-one seems to reall...

Re: European Leagues Thread 2012/2013

We don't have an MLS thread, but Wayne Rooney going, as the video says, 'beast mode' in the 96th minute worth a look. DC United at 2-2 and (bizarrely) their keeper up for a corner that is cleared, Rooney dashes 60 yards back to make a tackle with DC's goal open, before running 20 yards and providing...

Re: European Leagues Thread 2012/2013

Random fact from 2.Bundesliga Erzgebirge Aue's kit man is 30 today. Nothing unusual in that but German football has a rule about a club having to have 4 players registered in the first team squad who came through the clubs academy. As he was briefly in the academy as a child, the club have also reg...

Re: The generic transfer thread

Ouch. Bristol City left-back Joe Bryan had agreed terms and passed a medical with Villa, only to have his head turned by a later offer from Fulham, who he will join later today. Probably means Fulham have given up on making Targett's loan deal from Southampton permanent. Or is Sessignon on the move...

Re: The generic transfer thread

Chelsea in for goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga of Athletic Bilbao, for a new world record £71.6m, matching his release clause. He's been under the radar a bit against the likes of Oblak and Ter Stegen and Alisson. Bit of a risk at that price - he nearly went to Real Madrid for £17m in January. Kovacic...

Re: The generic transfer thread

Has he or has he not wasted the opportunities given to him? The answer is surely yes. Therefore he can be considered a waster surely? Not been able to take hold of the opportunities through a lack of ability to either improve or change his game is not the same as wasting that opportunity by not bot...

Re: The generic transfer thread

Yes he is a waster. Wasted opportunites at both Torino and West Ham to re-establish himself as a top level keeper and has let his country down on a few ocassions too when it really mattered. He has failed to adapt to modern day goalkeeping, clearly hasn't worked hard enough on his distribution whic...

Re: The generic transfer thread

Hope Nick Pope can get himself a move away in January when he is fit. Would be awful for him to be stuck behind this waster. A 'waster'? Hart has lost form completely, but was a very able performer for England and City for years. Luckily I don't think Dyche is the sort to bollock around and unless ...

Re: The Football League Thread 18/19

Only one match but Leeds were excellent yesterday under Bielsa You could see from the performance he has the respect of the players already which is a huge plus. His post match interview was a work of art. Apparently one of his first acts as manager was to get the first team squad to collect rubbis...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Derby County (h) sponsored by a new hope

There's something of the Pogrebnyak about him. When he was put through on goal in the first half - everything about it reminded me of Pog being put through at Wembley against Arsenal and at no point at all looking like scoring.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Derby County (h) sponsored by a new hope

For people who took a lot of notice of pre-season (not me), is McNulty unfit, or is there another reason we didn't see him from the bench? He notched a goal in pre-season and is (apparently) as much of a goal poacher-type striker than we've had since Cureton. Seems to me it would suit the sort of fo...
