Re: Under 23"s Supposedly not ready for first team football.

Do you have any basis for saying this, or have you just made it up? The key word in my statement is 'Think' mate so it's only a guess. Doesn't mean that's definitely what happed, just what I thought might have happened. Ok, I'll change the question. What evidence can you bring forward that would su...

Re: Under 23"s Supposedly not ready for first team football.

The window for playing multiple inexperienced youngsters is incredibly slim in this insanely competitive division. When you have nothing really to aim for and either no fear of going down, or expecting to go down so there's nothing to lose. Or when you're 2-3 goals to the good with 10 - 20 minutes ...

Re: We Never Forget Dylan Kerr by Roger Titford

Great attacking left back form my favourite period watching RFC since 1989. I was there at Burton last season and wondered why we suddenly started signing his name, then someone pointed at him to show me. Once a Royal, always a Royal! 8)

Didn`t we win 3-1 at Griffin park a couple of years ago. and 3-2 at home last season?

We got tonked there 4-1 September 2016. You're correct about the 3-1 home score line last season though.

Re: Oxford - Reading

I knew a guy who was in the police force and went undercover to infiltrate probably the most hardcore gang of hooligans in the country. He started off OK, but the longer he did it, the more into it he became. He developed a taste for the life and eventually he became one of their top boys. When the...

Re: Oxford - Reading

The last time we played them (Cup game) It was fairly intimidating on arrival at the Kassam. Plenty of Oxford "Lads" grouped around outside looking for agro and during HT, lots of plastic pints being thrown over the temporary wall between the concourse bars then the Old Bill came wading in...

Re: How many will we sign?

The prices being bandied about for the likes of Gayle, £20m and now even Oliveira more than £12m , we are not even in the running. We need another Glenn Murrayesq player of which there aren't any I can think of. Whatever happened to Ricky Lambert? Released by Cardiff and without a club. Great long ...

Re: The idiots of Twitter thread

The problem with the internet is that you give all the idiots in the world a platform to express their idiocy infinitely and if they choose, certain anonymity. If not than at least confrontation is limited to a few words on a computer screen. Slightly off topic but there was a game hunter in Spain ...

Re: The idiots of Twitter thread

I will postul8 that idiocy isn't limited to the internet. On my dog walk a couple of mornings ago I bumped into another dog-walker in an RFC jacket, got chatting about the club, and he started going on about how we keep selling all of our players to Luton. I tried correcting him that it's just Jack...
