Do you mean pessimistic? You do realise that means the opposite of optimistic right and yet you've predicted a Reading win?

No you blithering idiot Chris Martins. Fail of the year goes to basildon

Re: Mentor for Stam/Turnaround consultant

Lovely idea, but that’s a lot of wage bills. I doubt it as they are all retired or at lower league clubs.... would be minimal in grand scheme of things. I would also have Jem Karacan back. An ex captain and a proper royal. He would bring some nostalgia back to the squad to. Not to mention a bit of ...

Re: Reading v Derby prediction thread

Had a dream last night that Derby put 5 past us and all the fans were chanting 'Stam out'. Hopefully not a premonition! :o

I'm going for a draw.

Reading 1-1 Derby

HT 1-0

Reading scorer: Aluko (Seriously!)

Re: Back from the no game...

I must say this is the most relaxed and positive Saturday evening I’ve had all season. Can’t work out why??? Oh, I know: it’s because I didn’t have to see our beloved bunch of over-rated tw@tsters get tonked by a proper football team for a change! And didn’t had to endure yet another Stam interview...

 You're having me on? You do know that it's the teams that sit inside the bottom three that go down, don't you? Reading won't be in the bottom three all season. Did you gain powers of foresight? Because at the moment, the only foresight I have is the fixture list, and according to my calculati...

Re: The only course of action now...

That's not strictly true. You've got two things. Will the club get promoted before they run out of money? This is a gamble I suggest they are taking. And - will the club get promoted but breach FFP in the process? If wolves breach over three years, it doesn't matter whether they get promoted or not...

Re: The only course of action now...

can someone answer me this: Please excuse my ignorance on this topic but FFP So obviously this season we have struggled to perhaps get players in because of FFP. My question is this, next season does this kind of reset? do we have a larger purse so to speak to go out and blow loads of money on sign...

That is a ridiculous ascertion almost up there with the stories papers run under headlines of "British Police in Portugal hunting for Maddie have a beer". Absolutely no issue with them posting pictures of them playing golf - videoing a threesome with a local prostitute, yep that would cau...
