Re: Adrian Popa

Really annoyed about the lack of game time awarded to Popa while "no end product" Aluko gets to be a permanent fixture. Popa clearly isn't fit though, probably about 2 stone overweight the last time he came on for us. You want something like that in the team? Say what you like about Aluko...

Re: Where have the hardcore gone? Culture loss.

I think some would be up for it. Meyler is always responding to sh*tty 12 year olds on twitter who whine at him. I'd rather someone who has been at the club longer do it though. I also think some would rather engage off twitter and if it was a more organised, professional thing they'd like it. E.g....

Re: Tevreden Out, Nani In

Nani worked with Duxburry (CEO) and Zola (Manager) at both West Ham and Watford. Maybe its all part of a masterplan ! This is my main (hopefully unfounded) fear. A Watford supporting friend of mine immediately texted me to say that the next step would be Zola as manager and that he fears for us. I ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Sheffield Wednesday (h) sponsored by oh no, not another Saturday home game

Nope. Pog, despite all his faults, was capable of top quality hold-up play and was a decent ball winner from aerial duels. His work ethic, dribbling, crossing and passing all pale in comparison to Bod but if he was in this team he would be a better option than Bod. He just suits the tactics a littl...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Sheffield Wednesday (h) sponsored by oh no, not another Saturday home game

Probably the tactics we will indeed go with but Bod sadly isn't up to task for that. He loses a surprising amount of aerial duels when playing with his back to the goal. Something Pog thrived at. You're kidding right? For someone well over six foot, Pog was awful in the air. Nope. Pog, despite all ...

-------------Mannone Yiadom--Moore--Ilori--Blackett Sims--Bacuna--Meyler--Barrow ----Bodvarson--Baldock That back 4 should remain unchanged until Obita is fit. Get some continuity in. Gunter can make bench appearances for fitness and if Blackett is dogshite. Give Sims a start as other than Aluko we...

Re: Do we really have billionaire owners?

Word from a friend who works in the same office as Gourlay, and may go to explain why its all a bit of a mess. Clement signs some of the players he wants. Gourlay signs some of the players he wants. The owners' sign some of the players they want. Can't be usual to have 3 different sets of stakehold...
