Re: Rumour - Phil Parkinson

I think we should only go for Parkinson should we be relegated. I'd stick with Clement for the time being but if things are drastically bad by January then we need to get someone in and give him the window to work with. As previously stated many times it should be Nigel Pearson. To suggest that Mic...

Re: Berks and Bucks Senior Cup 2018/19

Reading have entered the Berks and Bucks Senior Cup this season, which also means avoiding a fine from the county FA. Probably will be a reserve / youth team taking part. We have a bye to round 2, so the first game probably won't be until November or so. Reading were the first winners in 1879, and ...

Re: On this day

He wasn't the £800k star performer we signed him to be but I've always been mystified why Asaba was put on the outs list by Burns when he had proven pedigree in the third tier. It's an even more strange decision considering our options at the time were Fleck, McIntyre, Williams and Brayson  H...

Re: Clement

Did we miss an opportunity with Steven Reid? When he left us the demise accelerated..hes left Palace and the same has occurred.. His impact behind the scenes may be greater than expected Possible manager in the making.. I think there's definitely more than an argument for that being the case I agre...

Re: Gourlay

I’d say “naive” isn’t a great glowing recommendation. It is very easy to put your trust in the wrong person. You cannot argue with Gourlay's CV either, they had no reason to think he wouldn't do a good job. Indeed, you are very correct, his CV is impeccable...but...the main difference is that Man U...

Re: [POLL] Is Aluko really that poor?

He has obvious ability but my opinion is he's a lazy oxf*rd who's just happy to turn up and collect his wages. Absolutely the worst type of footballer.

Re: CONFIRMED - Yakou Meite

Problem is if we start signing players on 3/4year deals on more money, and we get relegaed, there could be a real chance we could go into administration. Matchday attendances are down by 40+%, meaning revenue will be down, ticket prices will fall, fans will just pick up and leave and go watch Maide...

Re: Next Reading Manager

Wouldn't be against McCarthy, just to restore a bit of order. Don't think he'd have any qualms about booting out the likes of Aluko immediately. Not sure it'd be great football to watch mind you Do we think Aluko has some sort of Clause in his contract where he has to play a certain amount? I can't...

Yeah I would tend to agree. I would rather people like that say who they are and post normally, they'd get more respect telling the truth.

Of course they would Kes.

Re: QPR Fan - I come in pea

In a related issue, the 'Give Peas a chance' graffiti on the M25 bridge (after jct 11 I think) has been painted over. Flags at half mast for this one. No f*cking way! That was the best thing about the M25! This was in the media recently, apparently some other "graffiti artist" changed it ...

Haha I was wondering if that would get asked. The answer is absolutely not - I am a supporter not a prick Maybe he can start going and watching Gillingham instead? Not denying the 'Bald middle aged' bit though... I've got a full head of hair thank you. Not that you'd notice it under my Stone ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Queens Park Rangers (h) sponsored by Michael Meaker

Got my seat for this one back in Y24. Be good to further improve on our poor home record and with QPR conceding more than a few already this season and our awesome Iranian version of Claude Makélélé I think we can turn over those charlatans from West London! Good spot. Sure you didn't fancy the Sou...

Negs: The bald middle aged idiot in the terrace gloating and looking to pick fights with particular fans just because they weren't at Preston away (seriously get over yourself!) Hmmm, not sure if I told you but I was at Preston away and I saw no middle aged bald men doing the same there...methinks ...
