Re: MATCHWATCH : West Bromwich Albion (h) sponsored by Brian Howard

Lower West Moore looked uncomfortable with his shoulder again on Friday. Hopefully he can see the season out.

Rather than 5 at the back. Play Yiadom in central midfield. This would allow Baker and Rinomhota to alternate and push forward further.

No thank you.

Re: BFTG - Bristol City

Not sure it was a red, I actually thought EJari fouled him. Certainly looked like ejari slipped into the challenge which made it bad. Ref missed some obvious yellows, for both teams. Ejaria slipped because he was ankle tapped by Pack. If he hadn't slipped and gone lower, Smith's boot would have cau...

Re: Which of the loanees would you prioritise?

Just to expand and explain on this a little. Oliveira - Yes, he's in a position where we have some genuine competition with Bodvarsson, Meite, Baldock and maybe Novakovitch, Loader and McNulty. But as much as I like Bodvarsson, he's suffered a lot of injury problems and his first touch, strength an...

Re: Which of the loanees would you prioritise?

Oliveira -> Miazga -> Martinez -> Baker -> Ezatolahi -> Ejaria. Realistically I think that means Oli, Baker and Ezatolahi maybe joined by Ejaria. Just to expand and explain on this a little. Oliveira - Yes, he's in a position where we have some genuine competition with Bodvarsson, Meite, Baldock an...

Re: Rival Watch

Lower West QPR are quietly slipping downwards.

They won their last game by quite a scoreline..

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bristol City (a) sponsored by Scott Murray

Good result! I think we played well for the most part. They worked their goal very well but its hard to say if they deserved it or not. They looked pretty poor for long stretches of the game.

Re: Which of the loanees would you prioritise?

I would like all 6 of them in an ideal world. I'll list them in how I think we should prioritise them in that ideal world first. 1 - Martinez: Simply put hes a class above most Championship keepers. He is also the hardest to get back imo. 2 - Miazga: A month ago it would have been Oliveira in this s...

Re: Injury & Suspension Watch : 2018/2019

Snowflake Royal On the plus side you don't have to put up with me complaining about how he plays like he's in an U18 match showboating and swanning around generally for the rest of the season.

Promise?

Re: Royals on the Box/Internet Thread

That's the downside. DAZN have the rights in Germany, so you could sign up for the free month via a VPN, watch the game and then cancel. That sounds a fair shout actually. Cheers! Ifollow has spoiled me and redditsoccerstreams was taken down a few months ago so finding a good stream is a pain in th...

Re: BFTG - Brentford

Where's Chris Coleman nowadays? China isn't it? Reckon thats our best chance of a decent return on him Happy enough if he stayed one more year tbh. He is good enough back up and clearly a good team man. He's no Aluko, who I, and no doubt every other fan, would happily never see anywhere near RG2 ag...

The Boro away game has been selected for International TV coverage, so will be plenty of streams available for that one. Shit. No Ifollow for me then. That's the main game to watch. Hound Of all the regular debates on HNA, the Gunter one is surely the dullest

I told myself I would never get roped back into one. I failed.

Re: BFTG - Brentford

Gunts is a decent right back at this level. He is technically good and a better passer of the ball than Yiadom, Being a defender is not just about closing players down. That is definitely his biggest weakness though. He does stay too far off his opponent and lacks Yiadom’s fierce determination. He ...

Re: BFTG - Brentford

Yiadom being better does not mean Gunter is shit. That is stretching a logical argument to it's limits. We're not going to agree on this, so I'm just going to take my leave of this conversation. The argument I was making was a bit deeper than that. I'm stating that Yiadom has been so much better th...

Re: BFTG - Brentford

Of course he has flaws - no-one is making out he is an outstanding player but he simply is not as bad as his detractors want to believe. The problem with a defender who does make mistakes, and Gunter does make them (as all defenders at this level do) is they are so much easier to remember and point...

Re: BFTG - Brentford

That is fine but as part of a discussion it helps not to ignore a key point of a posters point to try and make a counter point. But the Gunter supporters are the first to ignore key points. In almost every arguement about Gunter someone will state his inability to block crosses, his poor positionin...
