Re: RUMOUR - Marcus Maddison

Apparently he can take free kicks. That would be nice. Imagine not watching every free kick hit tamely into the box or overhit by a good 20 feet.
What position does he play? I'm reading mixed reports.

Re: CONFIMRED - Andy Yiadom

Another thought - this does mean we could revive the 'wing-back' idea. I guess that both Obita and Yiadom would be better suited to a more free-flowing, attacking role. But then I hear that Clement isn't keen on that style. Something like --------------------------------Manone ---------------------...

Re: CONFIMRED - Andy Yiadom

He's 26 and signed a 4 year deal, he's not here as cover. Gunter will be sold, absolute guarantee. Agree, I don't see him as cover. This signing could have a trickle down affect for some others, too. There may be less opportunities now for the likes of Blackett or Ilori to masquerade as full-backs....

Re: Rumour: Denis Kolinger

not that sure. the rumours on him went very quiet towards the back end of last year, and some of his performances would have turned off potential suitors. We'd be unwilling to sell for less than £5m and he is on a long contract. Could see someone like West Brom being interested, but he may decide h...

Re: CONFIMRED - Andy Yiadom

Absolutely delighted. We've needed a first choice right back since Stephen Kelly left. Watson had potential and made a very good start, but his injury scuppered that and he doesn't seem to have impressed on his return in the U23s. Hopefully we can also sign a left back, Watson and Obita can properl...

Re: Building for next season

And you saw all of that from the Lower West stand? Dreamer I have no idea what point he is trying to make. Because I can't see the striker on the screen seeing Gunter stand 5 yards off his man as he crosses the ball into our box is irrelevant? It's pretty simple. Live at the game you get a far bett...

Re: RUMOUR - Andy Yiadom

Great! Happy days! I'm no fan of Gunter but a big problem could have been the lack of competition for his starting spot. Hopefully this changes that. Perhaps there's interest in Gunter already. Which has prompted the quick deal. Perhaps. Or more likely they have been pushing at this one to beat oth...

Re: Paul Clement to Napoli?

I don’t think it’s fair to judge a manager that came in late in the season. Unless he does something significant either way, I think we should reserve any form of judgement until Christmas. i didn't like his persona or the way he set the team up so I've already made my judgement I'm afraid. For exa...

Re: Building for next season

The benefit of ifollow over attending a game is you have instant replay at your finger tips. Which I used to re-watch the many goals we conceded this season. The benefit of being at the game is that you have a much bigger picture than that on the screen. It's also what others don't do that matters....
