Re: Top 10 Championship players.

Swift up for the young player award as well. A little surprised but he was excellent before Christmas. Certainly winning the award should add a few quid to his value if nothing else Didn't watch it, but sounds like he played pretty well for England U21s last night, so hopefully coming back into his...

Re: Top 10 Championship players.

I find any inclusion of Stockdale or Darlow a bit bizarre, no doubt they are good goalkeepers but due to the solid defences in front of them they don't really get challenged so much. Of course I'm biased but Al-Habsi at last check had made one of the highest amount of saves in the division, surely ...

Although Sean Dyche is doing a gr8 job, I wouldn't class them as a big club.

An interesting analysis regardless! Any way to check the results of games were our most often used players were absent?

Re: If RFC don't make the play-offs....

We didn't play hoofball under BMcD. We played fluid, exciting attacking football. Spirit and flair. That's the Reading way. That's the BMcD way and that was the Leicester way last night. ha, not last year we didn't :) Which is why Steve Clarke has lost so much of his credibility as a football manag...

Re: If RFC don't make the play-offs....

I would be disappointed, that we let our position slip, naturally. We have been in the top 6 most of the season now so i would expect us to stay there, however, if we dont i would still be happy with the season. We have advanced in so many ways a playoff position would just be the icing on the cake....

Does that list not include every eligible Irishman in the Premier league?

Re: Liam Kelly called up for Ireland's senior squad

squad reads like a who's who of the Championship, with a couple of Premier League players thrown in Yep, fair comment. Think we're currently ranked 24th, which sounds about right. Much harder these days for Irish players to play in the PL, with all the competition. And rugby is encroaching on socce...

Top 10 Championship players.

http://www.football365.com/news/f365s-t ... ampionship
Football 365 has listed Liam Moore as the 10th best player in the championship. How many people on here would say he's the best player in our team? (He probably is)

Re: Loan Watch 2016/17

Did ok in the circumstances, but obviously outclassed. Still wondering if we could do with him back. Can't make our defence any worse! I'm not sure if he's good enough on the ball. As good as he is in the air, it seemed like he made an awful mistake in possession at least once a game in the second ...

Re: Back from listening to the game v preston on the radio

Have our results actually been worse recently? In terms of ppg are we not roughly the same? Our ppg over the last 18, split into 6 game periods is 1-6: 2.0 7-12: 1.8 13-18: 1.2 season: 1.7 So yeah, we're basically on our worst run of the season and doing significantly less well. Interesting. Just a...

Re: Back from listening to the game v preston on the radio

Defenders appeared (to me at least) to have been given strict instructions not to press hard. There were a few instances I noticed where Blackett or McShane could have cut off a move early but seemed reluctant to do so. This was much more noticeable with Blackett as he seemed a tad more forward then...
