Re: Pub help required

The Vine is the pub/boozer at West Brom. Went to the Vine recently, they've moved the open barbeque at the back to a separate area behind a counter and added a lot more tables. Still a cracking pub. Took friends to the Vine about a month ago, and probably going on Saturday night as we've got family...

Re: Who still thinks Reading will avoid relegation...

I think it will be Burton plus two others to drop, with the other two coming from anyone up to QPR in 15th. There's a lot of bang average/poor sides in this group (including us) and it won't take much for anyone to get dragged in. We need to make sure we get some points from the sides around us, an...

Re: BFTG Burton

A game we thoroughly deserved to win. We could have scored more and Burton scored (the pen) from their only real chance in the game. This was not a nervy victory but one that once we got in front we never looked like giving away. Despite being pegged back to 1-1, the heads didn't drop. The second h...

Re: BFTG Burton

Yup agreed. Good backing of the lads last night. Didn't hear anything particularly negative, but easier to be positive when you lead for the majority of the game I think!

Half an hour up the road for me, on the train, on the beers. Hopefully a win to top if off.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Burton Albion (a) sponsored by points mean prizes

I reckon Elphick and Moore could make a decent pairing. If we go with that tomorrow, then I think we'll win 2-1

Re: BFTG - Stevenage

Just a quick question as I wasn't there, but a lot of the chat on the Facebook mong groups almost immediately after the game was of McShane "doing a Matt Mills" and giving the middle finger to the fans. Yet I've read all through this thread and not seen a single mention of it. I was there ...

Re: Record Watch 2017/18

Wolves up to 61 points from 26 played now = 2.346 points per game.
46 points from 20 games needed to beat our record = 2.3 points per game.

Re: Back from the shambles - Brum

Yep, Brum have been a shambles for some time...and yet someone on here said Brum still sold out the away end last night? In the summer we could have attracted a much wider base of players due to the playoff final and the promise of automatic promotion this season. Maybe, but there really ar...

Re: Relegation

Anyone actually thinking relegation would be good is a lunatic. We spent years trying to get into the 2nd tier we shouldn’t be giving that away so meekly. +1 and similar things about wiping the slate clean and starting again were said about the drop from Prem to Champo last time out. It doesn't wor...

Re: Back from the shambles - Brum

Still struggling to get my mind around the claims that last night was evidence of how we miss AAH. Doubt he would have been able to save either of their goals and I suspect that we may have conceded at least one more due to the fact that he does not have the same ability and confidence as Mannone t...

Re: Back from the shambles - Brum

Last night was the first game since Birmingham away in August for me. *First half going forwards I thought was ok in patches. We'd have a couple of quick passes or create an opening and slide a pass through for one of the forwards/wingers to latch on to and that seemed to work in the early stages - ...
