Re: MATCHWATCH : Swansea City Reserves (h) still looking for a sponsor

I just hope it's a better game than the last time we played a league cup tie against Swansea, albeit away - a god awful 0-0 draw at 90 minutes, which we may have won late on in extra time from memory. EDIT: 2nd round, August 2007, a Lita winner on 105 minutes the only goal. Not much of a match repor...

Re: LOLiverpooLOL - Next Season

There was pretty much a carbon copy of Mane's challenge in today's Swansea v Newcastle game which only received a yellow, presumably because Alfie Mawson stayed up. Possibly confirming the Neviller's thoughts that if Mane had been anywhere else on the pitch he'd have avoided a red I thought both we...

Re: The Manager Sack Race/Merry-go-Round

Listening to the radio, they played well yesterday too - had two cleared off the line.

Thing is, with their next few fixtures comprising Man United and Man City both away and Chelsea at home (I think), how much do they expect any new manager to achieve with that lot?

Re: Favourite signing this window?

Loved watching Bacuna boss the midfield against Birmingham on Saturday. And I was impressed (from the two games I've seen - QPR and Birmingham) with Big Daddy up top. Barrow has looked very lively from what I've seen too.

Re: Royals on the Box/Internet Thread

Sky decide not to show us in the latest round of games picked for TV, dates now up to mid November. plenty of Leeds and Villa though I hope bit annoying, only game we have on until the end of November is a home game that I would have gone to anyway, and would rather have been at 3pm Quite happy for...

Can anyone tell me what Carabao actually tastes like? No idea, but a little bird told me over the weekend that the players aren't allowed to drink it, dunno if it's to avoid failed drug tests or just that we don't want our players having heart attacks Mate of mine is a GB American footballer. They'...

Re: BFTG - Birmingham City

A nice easy walk across town for me one of my easiest games of the season. Beers in town first with some very pessimistic Blues supporting mates got the day off to a good start, which only improved as the game started. We were comfortable from start to finish and it always looked like a clean sheet ...
