Re: New season fixtures

From memory, discussions over previous fixtures have suggested the police won't put local derbies on the important days of the season (first game, last game, Boxing Day etc) so it's unlikely to be any of QPR, Brentford or Fulham based on that.

Re: BFTG - Wembley

I was more concerned about Steve from Reading and his 70bpm when it was end-to-end. If i didn't know any better I'd have thought he'd lent his heart rate monitor to John Swift. Unlike Danny from Huddersfield, Steve from Reading is clearly a very fit guy and, with a calm heart rate like that, should...

Re: Oh well.

Obita took one in the shootout v MK Dons as well. Took a beauty in to the top corner iirc. I didn't mind him stepping up for the penalty. I just think the pressure of the situation got to him - with Moore having missed and Huddersfield back level and in front of their fans, with no chance of coming ...

Re: The Shame Your Block Thread

Block 502. Sitting where we were (just inside the halfway line) it was a good vantage point to note the difference between the two sets of fans. As alluded to a couple of posts up, Huddersfield had the energy, the excitement, the drive that comes from the excitement of potential promotion to the big...

Re: Stay off the pitch!

I didn't mind Tuesday's pitch invasion too much although I would have preferred it not to happen - I wanted to just watch the players celebrate on the pitch and spend time sharing it with the fans. Rather than tons of fans flocking on and then players disappeared immediately. Yeah this exactly I fo...

Re: Play Off Final Tickets

Also, my thinking with this block by block approach is that by doing it this way, if one team doesn't sell as many they can reallocate the unsold blocks to the other team for them to sell if the demand is there, rather than have several half empty blocks at both ends.

Re: How are you getting to Wembley?

I'm in Rugeley, Staffordshire. In two minds. Either the direct train into Euston or I'll drive to Stanmore and take the jubilee. Advantages of the latter are that there's a nice curry house in Stanmore and I'll not have a hangover (on account of driving). Advantages of the former are that I can dri...

Re: Play Off Final Tickets

Are the upper tiers on sale yet? Asking for a cheapskate..... All goes on sale at same time What was all this about then Reading Football Club have to adhere to a very strict selling criteria set by the EFL and Wembley Stadium, so only blocks 501-508 will initially be on sale in level 5. All ticket...

Re: Play Off Final Tickets

Everybody I know is going for the 64 quid ticket and I can't really be bothered in parting with that sort of money for a game of football, so I'm just going the cheaper end of the tickets by myself. anybody else going solo or not? theres a few rows of the cheaper seats at pitch level in front of th...

Any idea whether the thieving barstewards (not RFC) will also sting us for credit card transactions? The only mention is of booking fees and postage fees, not of card fees There is a £2.40 per ticket booking fee for every ticket sold online or over the phone. Postage costs of £2.25 for Fi...
