Re: Liam Moore to Brighton

We signed him to a long term contract for a reason. He's tied to us for another 3 years. if any club, including the mighty seasiders want to sign him then they will have to pay our valuation. There's reason for offering lucrative long term contracts to certain players. Some BHA fans outraged at our ...

Re: Liam Moore to Brighton

I read somewhere that Moore is on 30k a week. Assuming this is true then the remainder of his 3 year contract is worth £4.6m (contracted wages) + expenditure of 1m original purchase price + £3.1 wages paid over the first 2 contracted years. This would mean that the club would be valuing the player ...

Re: Liam Moore to Brighton

If Moore does go there are other options that wouldn't cost a fortune. PC might want to team up with Kyle Bartley again.

Re: Liam Moore to Brighton

Tomer Hemed as part of the deal perhaps? Moore with 3 years left on his contract, will be interesting to see where this ends.

Liam Moore to Brighton

Interest from Brighton for Liam Moore. Apparently they’ve put a bid in. Wouldn’t search transfer news sites for it, they’ll be 40+ pages on NSC within the hour.

Re: Clements Out.

Any talk about blaming Clement is farcical. All blame is on the players here and I genuinely believe they are not playing for him, have you ever seen a reaction from a set of players on social media after a manager sacking - almost every player posted a Stam tribute, they loved him yet could only m...

Re: Clements Out.

Decent man manager, decent person who deserves better. Strange then, that he wasn't managing a better club, or indeed any club, and nobody had snapped him up? If he deserves better, why wasn't he offered it? I won't be feeling sorry for him. Nobody forced him to take the job. When a manager walks i...

Re: Back from the ****

I agree that in his second season he was being paid for doing nothing, but his part in getting us up was priceless. It wasn't so much the goals as the way he helped galvanise us. We've only got to the Prem twice, and the players who got us there earn legend status, whatever happened later. There wa...

Re: Back from the ****

Yep, Jason Roberts was a good signing for us. Obviously a good player, but he brought leadership as well. A solid pro. He was everything this current lot aren't. Imagine him arriving here today and taking a look at this shower. We could use a few more like him. Do you just come on here to wind peop...

Re: Clements Out.

Im glad you bought this up...even if you got his name wrong. Personally hes gonna be another disaster. I have no idea what he has achieved as such other than getting the boot from 2 jobs and carrying cones for Ancelotti. He appears only to be a slight upgrade from Stam.....and I don't know what he ...

Re: Back from the ****

Definitely lack of character and lack of grit. Our last promotion team was not ultra talented, but you had great character from the likes of Karacan, Tabb, and Leigertwood, and even Noel Hunt, and then leadership from Roberts. Yep, Jason Roberts was a good signing for us. Obviously a good player, b...

Re: Back from the ****

Have been reading that this type of gutless performance shows that it really has been the players’ fault, and not Stam’s.... Rubbish. Stam’s regime got rid of many of the promising youngsters who had come through the Academy and cared about the club. They may not have had the supposed talent of the...

Re: The only course of action now...

Anyone who really knew Gilkes as player knew he was as soft as cotton in the dressing room with the other guys. So what on earth makes anyone think he’s changed as a coach. The only reason Gilkes now finds himself in the first team set up is because he’s a YES man. Stam’s handpicked replacement for ...

Re: Reading fc season predictor league

What difference does it make if a season is a promotion one, mid-table, or relegation? Trying to predict how games will go is still "interesting" nothing against you snowy... your prediction thread was fun to begin with but now watching the 3 or 4 posters desperately seeking approval is m...
