Re: Drummer quits

Did a decent job at the semi final against Arsenal to be fair. Would help if they matched what Y25/Y26 were singing though rather than doing something else as if it's some sort of competition. IT would help if they could actually hear Y25/Y26. Generally not that easy in the ED these days. Actually ...

Re: BFTG - Fulham

Incidentally.. Looked a definite handball to me, but there is no way either the ref or lino could see, pretty sure 10k odd people going up in unison has influenced him. I'm certainly not saying this to incense any visiting Fulham fans btw Looked a clear handball when I just saw the replay on SSN. T...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wigan Athletic (h) sponsored by 1 point needed

Once we went 3 at the back, with Ilori, we comfortably saw the game out The striker Wigan brought on was awful, just standing around expecting everyone else to do the work for him omar Bogle - people thought we should sign him. He is quick though. I like Nick Powell. Wouldn't mind him at the Madejs...

Re: BFTG - Wigan

I thought today, once again, showed the way to dominate us is to play with three at the back and with wing backs. Our 4-3-3 is too narrow to cope with it and exposes our full backs, who can get overloaded or caught out of position with no cover. We looked better against it when Ilori came on and we ...

If James Chester is a £9m centre back, then we should get decent money for him too

Agreed. Also thought the centre half, no 9, and the keeper werepretty decent. Rotherham were not the worst team to come to the Madesjki this year imo

Re: BFTG - Rov'rum

I think it also depends where you sit. In the ED, about half way up and you get a really good view as to what is going on, where the gaps are, who is making runs, etc etc. Sometimes, from up high, you can see a pass but the player on the pitch either cannot see it, or chooses a safer option (as is S...

Re: BFTG - Rov'rum

Didn't think it was Kelly, per se, that made the difference in the second half. It was the fact we had too many players playing out of position in the first half. With Kelly on, Williams could move forward a little (where he is better than as the holding midfield role He had in the first half) and t...

Re: BFTG - Villa (A)

(if he recovers - was off his feet when he went off  ) Just proves how fit Kermogant is - he does that work, for 90 minutes, week in, week out at the age of 36. Love Kermie but pleased to see another option coming through. Kermie would not have scored his second though - just wouldn't have had...

Just looked at the bottom of the table; didn't realise how close to the bottom three that Birmingham have fallen :o We could have a couple of tough fixtures in the last 4 with Forest and Burton both scrapping for survival. Would prefer a couple of mid-table, flip flops already on teams (like Villa y...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

How many times in the past 2-3 seasons have we been beaten at home by teams that "come and do a job" - set up defensively, and score on the break, from a set piece or from a mistake? It's how most Championship games are played tbh. I've only been to two away games this year (Fulham and Bru...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

Very similar comments to a lot of the Sheff Weds ones too. They clearly don't have the benefit of watching us week in, week out. Our throw in and goal kicks are always that slow, from the first to 90th minutes, home and away. Even if we're a goal down. Oh well. Fair comment about us being quite open...
