Re: BFTG - Ipshit H

Atrocious enough to finish third and get 0-0 at Wembley in the PO Final? Neither semi final or the final suggested that the team had any calibre. Remind me how many chances we created and goals were scored in 270 minutes of football. That PO final was abysmal. Two teams intent on trying not to lose...

Only if he brought Simeon Howell and Andre Boucard with him.

Lets not forget Eric Obinna Chukwenyelu and Sekou Baradji.

Re: Loader to Bundesliga

Can't help but feel we may never see this kid in the first team. You have to wonder as well, if these clubs are genuinely interested surely he must be good enough to get in to a struggling Champ team? Doesn’t mean he’d play in their first team. Might well go and sit in their academies and get the o...

Re: BFTG - Ipshit H

Well, first, Stam "inherited a side" that had just finished third Clement inherited a side that had plummeted and looked odds-on for relegation Stam's 38 games yielded 39 points=39/38 which is 1.026 ppg But that doesn't tell the true story The 18 games up to his sacking yielded just 9 poi...

Re: Clement

Not a chance does Long count. We signed him at about 18 and he was basically straight in the First Team squad. It was around 6 months for Long to feature in the first team I think and then it was as a sub. He was still playing academy games even after making his debut. He was obviously seen to be t...

Re: New league?

Don't worry, we will not be involved in this. The TV company (if there is one lined up) who will broadcast the new league won't want us in there. We are not one of the audience pulling "big" clubs. Lol. I can see it already. "Look guys we will take you on any terms you want, we just ...

Re: BFTG - Ipshit H

Also, seeing just 15 wins in 62 games over almost 15 months, makes it utterly clear how little the fault is Clement’s What's the breakdown of that? Clement owns 25 league games of the 63 played since the start of last season. In those 25 games Reading are averaging a whopping 0.96 ppg and an averag...

Re: BFTG - Ipshit H

Out of interest for each of the blocks of games what was the average league position of the opposition for that block? Just thinking if Reading has started picking up more points and the average league position in each block has been getting lower then that should underline the improvement. Would im...

Re: BFTG - Ipshit H

It also depends on who you are playing. If you have a run of Hull, Rotherham, Ipswich, Bolton and Millwall and mustered up 10 points for example, at the start of a season, for example, would you for example say your the best team in the league Course you wouldn't. We are shit and will be found out ...

Re: Clement

Presumably Meite has earned Mr Clement a stay of execution today. But for how long? Will he see out the end of the month, will he make it to Christmas? Will the Chinese give him as long as Mr Stam and wait until things really are desperate before making change. Or can Mr Clement finally get the team...
