Re: Sam Baldock

Was often playing a secondary role to either Murray or Hemed. Is a very good player at this level and should be a signing that is welcomed. For those who aren't impressed, who would you sign that is realistically available to us? The issue for these people is that he's not got a sexy foreign name o...

Re: CONFIMRED: Darren Sidoel

Definitely for the Academy. If he was first team material he'd have had a lot more interest in him and he'd be flying out to Austria immediately. So let's hope he's better than whichever youngsters we already have in his position. Just like Pelle Clement was "definitely for the academy". ...

Reckon he's going to be one for the academy. In which case let's hope he's better than whichever youngsters we already have in his position.

Re: RUMOUR - George Evans to Sunderland

The Chronic reckons Evans to Sunderland could be tied up as early as today. They think he's flying back to Sunderland for a medical this morning http://www.readingchronicle.co.uk/sport/16356364.george-evans-is-on-the-verge-of-swapping-reading-fc-for-sunderland-afc/ Also news that Reading are hoping ...

Re: George Evans

Rather have got shot of Aluko and Edwards before Evans. Suffered last year with the combination of injury blight and cr*p from. So just like nearly every other member of the squad then. That said it has to be seen a a good move for him as he needs to play regularly and for Reading as thanks to Stam'...

With €100m burning a hole in Real’s pocket I can’t see much stopping a move to Madrid for Hazard.

Whenever I see the name Hazard I still think of Micky first.

Re: The generic transfer thread

Rangers offer £3M for Jake Cooper :o :? He should go for it and take the money. It seems an odd one though: what does Stevie G see in him. I suspect he'll still make a few mistakes even if he does drop down a level. This just the start. Storming season for Rangers and an England call up. Maguire me...

Re: Slough away or fulham at that place in hampshire

Team against Fulham looks to me like PC’s current first 11. 3 games in a row up front for Meite, must surely be in his plans. No Popa at all though - little suprised but possibly Ill/injured Thinks he's had a look at Popa and decided to offload. Not the case, least not at the moment, Popa has a min...

Re: Injury & Suspension Watch : 2018/2019

Edwards has a cracked rib

Popa and Harriott have both picked up minor muscle injuries which need attention and will keep them out of the squad for Austria.

Re: Slough away or fulham at that place in hampshire

Much better from Reading In Hampshire. Couldn’t tell which side was in the PL nor in the Championship. Gave as good as they got and created more or less as much as Fulham. Meite tries really hard as a CF and had his moments, certainly has much more of a presence about him than Smith or Bodvarsson an...

Weird episode this only in that at no point has he been 'sacked' or agreed to 'leave by mutual consent', or 'resigned'. It's just dragged on forever, Sarri is as good as confirmed on his way and now Conte has 'left the club'. You can feel the media already lining up the “who’s Sarri now” type headl...

World Cup finals are great until England go out then it just becomes dull and boring. Thanks to the new England though we made it to the last weekend before it got dull and boring. One day we’ll all make it to the last day of a tournament. One day. Still, can get back to moaning about Reading’s disp...

Slough away or fulham at that place in hampshire

Youngsters at Slough at 12.45pm and oldsters at the Rec at 1.30pm Anyone arsed enough to go to either? Thinking the game at Slough might well be the most attractive to fans. If they'd thought it out right they'd have set the kick off times so you could get to watch both but then the "attraction...
