Re: The League of 4

And do the dreadful season rolls on. Bolton fouled up at Leeds - no surprise and Ipswich only got a point at Wigan. Reading and Rotherham totally failed to take advantage though so it’s still all to play for. Believe that after next week the bottom 4 will have played all their games against each other

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham United (h) sponsored by all or nothing

At least one of Frost, East, Barrett or Loader will be on the bench tomorrow as they didn't play for the U23s. Frost was recalled from his loan at Havant a few days ago and was training with the first team along with Barrett and East. Gomes did say in his interview he had some of the U23s training ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham United (h) sponsored by all or nothing

Blackett also expected to be fit, least he’s back in training anyway, so at there are defensive options available. Therefore perhaps midfield shouldn’t be as big a problem as we think as I would have thought it isn’t too much of a change to stick a central defender in as a DM (esp. someone like Blac...

Alamo? Defending like a Wendy House should be sufficient.

Today is the 19th anniversary of the famous (?) HNA trip to Sunny Scunny. A gobsmacking 900 fans met at Madejski Stadium in the morning before heading up to Lincolnshire in a convoy of Nobbers to watch a dire team doing it's best to get relegated to Div 4. http://www.royals.org/piccies/scunny.jpg F...

Re: Rumour - Pedro Neves

If he's signed now then I expect Academies are not subject to the same transfer regulations governing club's 1st teams. No doubt someone on here will be ITK on that side of things. No doubt he'll be featuring for the U18s/U23s at some point shortly. Be interesting to see him "assessed" by ...

Re: BFTG Sheffield United

Martinez is certainly better with the ball at his feet than the others Like I said after Blackburn - for me, playing short passing is no more risky than just hoofing the ball into the oppo CBs head time and time again. It just looks worse But at least with hoofing it long the oppo aren’t getting th...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Sheffield United (a) sponsored by Nicky Forster

Sod's law isn't it? Perhaps an option might be to play an old fashioned sweeper or use one of the centre backs as a midfielder. For the record Martinez sounds as if he pulled a few useful saves out despite his utter ricket and I don't think the defence can actually be blamed too much given the soft...

Re: The League of 4

Bolton lost but Ipswich drew.

Next away game is Ipswich, got to improve the utterly disgraceful away form which has seen 16 goals scored and 43 conceded in the last year (25 games). That run has seen just 1 win and a handful of draws.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Sheffield United (a) sponsored by Nicky Forster

Ejaria could be out for a few weeks. Kelly also took a knock and Rinomhota and Ezatolahi still out. We are lacking options in this area for our biggest game of the season to date next Saturday. Let’s hope Rino can make it for that game. Shame Reading haven't got a big enforcer type in the Academy k...
