Re: Anyone For Chinese?

Not asking for anything too in depth, just an interview/some PR in the local media with them both just to give us their take on things, introduce themselves, find out how they see Reading, future plans etc. so a relationship can start to be built up with media and fans. Don't really want total sile...

Re: The Forgotten

Big centre back we got from and returned to Telford ? Aaron Brown? If we're going back 30 years, how about Sean Reck? On loan from Oxford in the all conquering 85/86 season and played in 1 game, a 6-0 defeat at Walsall. I thought Sean's appearance was in the 3-0 stuffing at Priestfield (Gillingham).

Take your feedback to the club so they have a chance to respond and - hopefully - change things.

Anyone got an idea as to programme sales over this and previous seasons?

Reddersfield Town or Hudding. Home games to be played alternatively in Berkshire and West Yorkshire. Works for me.

Re: CheLOLsea

Someone on Talksport was asking about how that effects things like bets. A valid point. I also think it's so over the top, it's cringe worthy. It's completely tainted the occasion I think - rather than him playing 90 mins or whatever is a "natural" amount, and then everyone giving him the...

Re: Madejski stadium pitch size

So what is the pitch size at the Madejski. Wembley is 115x75 yards I believe. They say Wembley is big but I don't think it is that much bigger than most league pitches. Just wondering how much of a factor that would be in team selection/tactics and how quickly players get knackered if they don't let...

Where Are They Now

Always thought we could do with a "where are ex-players now" thread. So here is one.

To kick off, here is where Reading's last PL starting XI are currently

Re: #antiReading

Don't get the Danny Murphy hate. He was just a player on the day playing for his club. It's not his fault that Portsmouth couldn't be arsed to turn up on the day (or Reading couldn't be bothered to try and play in either game v Fulham, Bolton, Villa etc. earlier that season)

Re: A pundit just backed us!

Amazing isn't it. First neither Huddersfield nor Reading get much of a mention as it's all about Fulham and the Sheffield massive. And now they're out it's all Huddersfield - when anyone can remember the name of either of the teams involved that is.

Perhaps SKY might forget to turn up on the day.

Re: wembley experience

Meanwhile, back on topic, think it's more about who has the calmest and most laid back players. I believe both teams will have a couple of training sessions at Wembley so the ground, layout and playing surface won't be totally alien to them - but when it's filled with 75000 screaming fans, tv teams ...

Picking up from the digression on the Wembley experience thread started by the forgotten Stephen Kelly Your crafty edit throws the discussion off a bit ! I have absolutely no recollection of Stephen Kelly . Bizarre. RB who was frequently preferred to Chris Gunter in the premier league. God that's a ...

Re: Ups & downs 16/17

Watching Alloa v Brechin live on BBC Alba. Odd channel, meant to be in Scottish Gaelic but because no-one actually speaks it outside of the remotest parts all the interviews are in English. And yes it's just like the Fast Show's Channel 9 sketches in terms of commentary where every few seconds you g...

More promotion and less relegation in steps 3-5 next season for the re-shuffling of clubs in 2018/19 to have four step 3 divisions (http://www.evostikleaguesouthern.co.uk/southern-chosen-to-run-new-division-36644) ...but can anyone understand the logic of having the extra step 3 division being run ...

MATCHWATCH : Huddersfield Town v Reading, Play Off Final, 29 May 2017 (Wembley)

Well I don’t know how it happened but after two seasons of complete and utter cr@ppy cr@p, from Cr@pton in deepest Cr@ptonshire, an inspired management change that had lots of us slagging the board and slating Jaap before a ball had even been kicked has seen the club rise up to earn a place in the m...

Re: Flag upcycling

Is it possible to organise an inflatables day for Wembley? 35000 people bouncing various things around half the stadium would surely be something worth watching - and quite probably the highlight of the day if past play off finals are anything to go by.
