Re: MATCHWATCH : Leeds United (h) sponsored by Slumber, Inc

Chris Wood has a minor knock picked up v Fiji last week and was rested by NZ team manger for their second qualifier v Fiji as a precaution. Chris will be assessed by the Leeds medical team on his return. Sounds to me that he is more likely to play than not but would welcome them missing a 27 goal st...

Re: Ups & downs 16/17

Pompey looking ok in 3rd in Div 4 now but Stevenage are on a great run and beat them at the weekend. chase for the play offs looks great. 8 points separates 5th place down to 13th. Wonder what's up at Carlisle, spent the first half of the season being unbeatable but the second half so far losing vi...

Re: Loan Watch 2016/17

Certainly not one to write off yet. I'd keep hold of him but try to loan him to a champ club next year - if he could cut out the ridiculous mistakes he could be an excellent player Difficult to see where he fits in at the moment with McShane, Moore, iLori and Blackett all ahead of him presumably Ke...

Re: The Non - League thread

Saw the stones at Maidenhead this season and they were a thoroughly well organised team that Maidenhead found very difficult to break down and when they finally did it was from a Tarps. set piece Never struck me that Maidenhead are a physical team and Wealdstone certainly weren't However, before gam...

Re: Anti-Exiles parking policies

Apparently there's a rumour going round that somewhere there's a club and local authority that don't penalise people for driving to out of town stadia, specifically built to be near good road links to enable easy access, with extortionate pricing and/or all sorts of parking restrictions

Re: Our Starting XI in League this season.

Excellent stuff Strap. Tennai Watson seems to be far and away the most unused outfield sub. Just 2 apps out of 26 selections. And Just for the record, Liverpool won the league title in 1966 using only 14 players. 42 league games at the time. Believe that that was also the first season in which subst...

Re: Anti-Exiles parking policies

And also for night games where it is just not possible for people to get to the ground half hour before kick off due to working hours and the utter mess that the A33/M4/M25 sometimes gets into e.g. for the Newcastle game. Perhaps also it would be helpful to understand why the club has chosen to hit ...

Re: Car Park Renewals

I live circa 50 miles away and have no alternative but to drive. As others have said, sometimes you arrive late through no fault of your own. I have emailed the club just to add to the numbers but would imagine I will get the same response. I see what they are saying but surely there could be some ...
