Re: England - the future....

Apparently Gareth Southgate was at the Derby v Blackburn game last night. Wonder if there might be a surprise in the next England squad - Mason Mount perhaps?

Expecting our Iranian international to be involved tonight, presumably on the bench, having got his visa sorted out now.

Re: Women Pundits/Commentators

I could not care less who is in the studio punditing. Who cares if they're male, female, over 90 or under 10 so long as what they say is valid and they are contributing some sense then what does it matter. Odds on most people just tune in for the game itself and switch off when the talking heads app...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Norwich City (h) sponsored by Andy Hughes

Gunter will stay in I expect. All I want from him is 6/10 performances until Obita is back, shouldn't really be too much to ask Aluko will prob stay in unfortunately, though Sims' case is getting louder by the week. Its a tough one, didnt especially like the team we put out, but obvs you don't mass...

Re: Injury & Suspension Watch : 2018/2019

Yiadom booked. Mannone injured in training yesterday. Believed a minor knock. Meyler has a minor knee problem and should be back in contention next week. Popa has an injured ankle from a week or so ago. He just rolled it so shouldn’t be out too long (not that he ever plays anyway) Blackett was miss...

Re: Clement

You would still expect them to beat the first man even if the rest of the team was failing in their part. This is something they both regularly struggle to do. Perhaps it’s because they’re low on confidence and/or trying to hard but either way there’s room for considerable improvement. Best corners ...

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

For those that regularly watch the U21/3s, does Danny Loader stand out every game as being the best in the pitch for Reading? My guess would be that if he isn’t doing that then he isn’t going to make the first team any time soon.

Man U 1-1 Reading with about 20 mins left

House scored for Reading in first half! ManU equalised about 5 mins ago.

Callum Harriott played 60 minutes.

I'd just like to say that everyone I've had dealings with at the club has been polite and helpful.

Except Dave in IT, he thinks I'm an idiot.

Re: Tevreden Out, Nani In

Why can he not write in the same tone? Charles Watts would write reasonably provocatively when he reported on Reading so what is stopping Jonathan Low? How has he not tapped in to Watts' relationship with Tevreden? It is baffling. Not sure making excuses for his lack of journalistic nous is intelli...

Re: Where have the hardcore gone? Culture loss.

As host of the earlier quoted 'desperately stage managed' Royal Exchange, I can tell you that there are players happy to talk, to open up and be as honest as realistically possible. We had Dave Edwards come on the show a few days after his red card at Villa and he fronted up. Likewise we had Vito M...

Re: 3rd UEFA Cup Competition

This will sound really outlandish and probably unpopular but I would like the Champions League to become exactly that. A league of just the Champions from Europes top league. Have a league of 12 - 16 teams who play eachother twice over the course of the season. You are guaranteed some huge games on...
