Re: World Cup 2018

Feel sorry that the Ox is out of the World Cup after his rejuvenation at Liverpool this season. Would have been a great option for England to take to the finals.

Re: Roy Bentley

How about applause from the 63rd to the 69th minute (1963 to 1969 ) What about for the full game? With injury time we should easily get to 93 minutes. On second thoughts applauding while Reading turn out yet another shambles of a home performance might not be the message we want to subconsci...

Re: Roy Bentley

I sent a message to Low on his webchat today and the club a message on twitter asking if anything was happening on Saturday, given he's our oldest surviving manager, neither replied... That’s very poor. There should be a minute’s silence on Saturday. Esp after the "silences" for Ray Wilki...

That's nothing, Stam apparently invented the false 3 position last season.

Re: Relegation Watch

Just think if Barnsley don't win Saturday, Reading could turn out and serve up the standard dross home performance against Ipswich and lose but still be safe.

Just wondering what route it will go down for Reading to get there (if at all of course).

Re: Relegation Watch

So it could be that Reading get lucky by the complete ineptitude of several other sides in a season that produces one of the lowest sets of points needed to achieve relegation. Leaves you thinking that while Reading have been so unremittingly ****** dreadful all season, look what some supporters mus...

Final score : Nottingham Forest 3-0 Barnsley

Therefore if Barnsley don’t beat Brentford on Saturday Reading are safe whatever they do v Ipswich.

Just for the record, if Barnsley don't get more than 1 point from their next two fixtures Reading will be safe even if they lose both of their final games (presuming Bolton don't manage a 10-15 goal win v Forest).

You'll win. You always do against us. And we've got injuries (loads) and we're awaiting a decent manager for a change, but no-one's told the team, who have decamped to Butlins en masse with their trouser legs rolled up and knotted hankies on their heads......
