Re: Fixtures

Something wrong with the fixtures for Reading. Two local away derbies between xmas and new year then a home game on NYD itself. Have the FL dropped a clanger? Also Easter's a bit late. 19th April (Good Friday) Bristol City away and WBA at home on 22 April (Easter Monday) - how long before Reading sw...

Played them on the last day twice in the last 10 years. Reading lost both games. On each occasion though the away side ended up promoted.....

Re: Greyhound parking

Well I presume it is NOT the club's decision to "close" the Greyhound stadium if it is I would suggest some sort of strong protest to the club is in order Public transport options are a waste of time unless you live in Reading itself and even then they aren't exactly perfect. Cue even more...

Re: Summer Transfers

Transfer window has just gone dead since the World Cup (as expected). The three weeks after the cup and before the start of the season/window closure are going to be mental Will pick up a little once the group stages are over, then a bit more as teams start being knocked out so shouldn't all be con...

Re: Greyhound parking

Last season I had a parking permit at the greyhound stadium. However, I received a letter from the club stating that for next season it would no longer be available for match day parking at all. So heads up those of you who use that regularly! Well that's a bright move, anyone know why? Are they fi...

Re: World Cup 2018

Poland lol! Goalkeeper went walk about leaving the goal open for the Senegalese to score. Bit unlucky in some ways. Losing to an own goal the bloke could do nothing about and then another goal conceded when the ref waved the Senegalese player back on at a most inopportune moment. Imagine if that wa...

Re: England’s World Cup Finals 2018

Loads of negativity in the office this morning, not really understanding why to be honest. First games are never easy and Tunisia aren't mugs, ranked 21st in the world for a reason. When you consider their penalty was about as soft as it comes and we should have been awarded at least 2 ourselves th...

Re: Ingerlund Vs Tunisia

Really bright opening 20 minutes for England followed by 70 minutes of utter tedium which they’ll probably all blame on the humidity. All compounded by, at best, inconsistent refereeing.

Not looking forward to the next struggle in similar temperatures on Sunday.

Re: Ingerlund Vs Tunisia

Standard England, start brightly then seemed to stop what they were doing and sit back then give away a stupid penalty. Meanwhile Lingard has spurned god knows how many opportunities. At least they have 45 minutes still to play to put it all correct. That said I think England are 2 players away from...

Re: England’s World Cup Finals 2018

And the new Jimmy Greaves saved the day! Despite the bright opening the way the game all drifted off into 70 minutes or so of dull, tedious and uninventive play with no real creativity is really disheartening but l guess it’s all we can expect given the pool of talent available at the moment. At lea...
