Re: MATCHWATCH : Brentford (a) sponsored by one pub on each corner

Has David Coote retired? I am getting worried about him. Don't know how you're going to handle this season OMA. Mr Coote is now part of the Select Group and is therefore only like to get the top Championship games rather than the run of the mill cr@pola Reading will be playing. His last game was Le...

Re: Danny Loader

One year left on his contract and not happy here by some accounts. Believes he should be playing. Won't be shocked to see him leave. Would be annoyed to, mind. Deserved a chance. McNulty made sense, but we didn't need both him and Baldock, should have had Novakovich and Loader for the fringe / benc...

It's in the top 10 European leagues for sure.

Financially aren’t the PL, La Liga, Bundesleague and Serie A the only leagues ahead of it?

Re: BFTG , Hull.

Decent game for once. Thought Ilori was MoM, did really well at right back. O’Shea did well too, apart from two moments the first of which left him with a yellow card and a beak. Just do much better without Aluko and Gunter and looked more evenly balanced with so much more directness on the right. H...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Hull City (h) sponsored by a distinct lack of Saturday home wins

Hull are poor. As are Preston. Just need to find one more team to fill those nasty bottom three places. Birmingham might have a 12 or more point penalty heading their way sometime before Xmas Don’t think Bolton are definitely out the woods yet and someone was suggesting Villa might be facing a simi...

Re: The Non - League thread

I'm not expecting a lot today from Winchester City's trip to Merthyr - they have started the season well - a lot better than Frome from their league who we beat in the last round. Plus we have a stack of injuries. Apparently the pitch got a drenching on Thursday night, so possibly that will be a le...

Re: Injury & Suspension Watch : 2018/2019

Is Callum Harriot right up there with one of our most injury prone players ever? thought he was going to kick on this season after his injury nightmare last year. think he played minutes in pre-season, now gone again, waste of fcuking space. He played an hour in the last reserves game... And also p...

Well at least it’d generate an atmosphere which is more than you get otherwise. Also it won’t be too long until it’s dark enough for switching the lights on your phones on and waving them about. At least that’ll be something for the few remaining fans to look forward to during a game. Any other ente...

Terry Hurlock now works for the RMT (National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers) and in 2007 the Times declared him as the 23rd hardest man in football  THE hardest man in football and probably now the RMT's 'chief whip'. My recollection of him getting sent off at home to Rotherham...

Reading about this it transpires that Nelson is the 8th British player to make his Champions League debut for a non-British club. Was surprised to see one name at the top of the list - the first was Brian Deane who I didn't recall had managed to sandwich 18 appearances for Benfica between spells at...

McDermott Championship winning season - No matter the score, you always thought we had a chance of getting something from the game before the final whistle (mostly thanks to supersub Le Fondre) Current team - No matter the score, you are never confident that we will get anything from the game befor...
