Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

RFC website still to post a match report from Friday`s U23`s victory at Woking !!!!! If and when they do they will probably say that Reading have qualified for the QF`s in the Premier league 2 cup. However i think we still need a point from the remaining group matches away at Birmingham and Fulham....

Re: RUMOUR - Nelson Oliveira

sounds like a good chance of this happening anyway. Lots of reports of medicals etc I quite like all of Baldock, Bod and Meite, but their seasons have been wrecked by constant minor injuries. Baldock's fitness record particularly is pathetic It really doesn't matter. He'll be injured before the end...

Re: The Next 8 games - Make or Break Time

yep Bolton is massive. Be very very concerned if we lose that, esp if Rotherham pick up points at the weekend Bolton v WBA on the telly tonight so let's hope they both lose and get a red card or something to help our case along. One thing you can be sure of though is that will be fighting for every...

Re: RUMOUR - Nelson Oliveira

Not nearly as idiotic as your user name will be if Ilori leaves next week. Seriously I am not sure what part of what I said is "idiotic". It is generally agreed that midfield has been the cause of our problems most of this season and I referred to the fact that things were getting better ...

Re: Tiago llori

Rumblings that this is now a done deal and Ilori will go to Sporting Lisbon but not until Reading have a replacement. Therefore presume Reading will be looking for a pacey ball playing centre half from somewhere. Ah so thats why he played like he couldn't give one single oxf*rd on Saturday. He was ...

Pink 'un reporting Oliviera is set for a medical

https://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/can ... -1-5859898

If that is correct then I presume this will all be wrapped up and confirmed by end of tomorrow.

Re: RUMOUR - Nelson Oliveira

Pete O'Rourke reporting it as a done deal. Normally reliable. Strong suggestions that it is a very likely deal on what masquerades as the EP site. Though JLow reckons there's still a fair bit to be done. Definite loan - which makes sense as Reading are not going to be able to sign players of Olivie...

Just think how many Le Fondre and Roberts would have got if they were used more in their proper positions.

Re: Gomes BBC Berks Interview

Deller’s a plank. Instead of getting behind Gomes he questions everything that doesn’t suit his own opinion. The players in the past may have been stealing a living but Dellor and Williams are stealing their share of easy money at the BBC. Both total planks and hysteria mongers when it suits them t...

Re: Gomes BBC Berks Interview

Gomes is learning as well. He’s learning English Second Division football which is a hell of a lot different to the PL and what he’s used to elsewhere. He’s still learning about the squad of players he’s inherited some of whom may well not be up to what Gomes wants either technically or mentally. Th...

This is of course what every relegated side says!

Looks like a clear shoot out between the bottom 4 now.

Yup. And we stay up on GD.

Think every one of us would take that now if it was offered

Re: MATCHWATCH : Derby County (a) sponsored by Yakubu

That defeat was totally the fault of Gomes with a totally unnecessary piddling about with the team selection compounded by what sounded an utterly ludicrous substitution decision.

Sounds truly awful so far. Suicidal tippy tappy grollox in defence from goal kicks and the like really not helping what looks to be poor choice to piddle about with the defensive line up

Nothing being offered going forward.

And losing 1-0

.....will tick a new ground off by list: Fleet Town who will be playing Bideford. Today’s team Jaakkola Yiadom Rinomhota Moore Baker Ilori Bacuna Barrow Ejaria Swift Bodvarsson Subs Walker Gunter Aluko Richards McCleary Loader Blackett So then is it Rinomhota or Bacuna at right back? Really emphasises the need for a replacement left back seeing both of those classed as left backs...
