Re: MATCHWATCH : Huddersfield Town v Reading, Play Off Final, 29 May 2017 (Wembley)

Anyone up for breaking into the stadium and rearranging the bags to spell Tinpot ? That'll be a challenge, have you ever tried rearranging the letters in ROYALS to read TINPOT? Funny thing is though with a bit of tipex and a marker pen you could transform "Brighton" into "tinpot"...

After Norwich though, I doubt you'd have wanted Reading to sign anyone who played in the team.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Huddersfield Town v Reading, Play Off Final, 29 May 2017 (Wembley)

Huddersfield have been on a training camp in Portugal in the run up to this play off final. Will that help them or hinder them? Going to a nice, sunny, relaxing place like Portugal could make them feel like they have done it. They have won and now they are celebrating and relaxing. All the hard wor...

Doesn't mean Reading wouldn't take a chance if he was a free agent though.

CLicked a few GR links today - mostly not football related. Said it before about GR but like my post today on the Pissed Off thread - web sites like this are totally sh*te It's just hard and challenging to view the content. Frequently I'm re diverted, adverts open and pop up, those that don't are i...

Just seen in Backpass magazine that Dave Shipperley passed away in January. I remember him from a game or two around 1980. He was only 64. RIP

Still a doubt. Possibly may know more at the press conference tomorrow (Thursday). Depends how much JS is willing to reveal.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Huddersfield Town v Reading, Play Off Final, 29 May 2017 (Wembley)

Ahead of the game, Kachunga is apparently a slight doubt for Huddersfield (according to GetReading). Meanwhile Obita is still rated as a doubt. Club keeping cards close to its chest at the moment and not letting on. He was at Wembley with the rest of the squad yesterday apparently. No doubt Stam wil...

Re: Play Off Final Tickets

What does it matter? How will it effect you? It doesn't - people just like to know/are interested. getreading to the rescue! According to our favourite journalist. we've sold about 35,000 as of yesterday afternoon. https://twitter.com/jonathanl50/status/867053243188346880 Well that's not too shabby...

Re: Play Off Final Tickets

Being quiet at work and wanting to know how many we've sold I logged on to the online chat. 'Only' about 31,000 sold. I know Morgan Evan, he is a Leeds fan and is winding you up. By Friday evening we shifted over 28000 tickets. Do you really think we have only then shifted another 3000 Saturday, Su...

Good item on Huddersfield's "Gegenpress" style of play at TTE

Now think of ways of counteracting it.

Re: The Forgotten

That bloke, what's his name, that one who played for Reading at some point it would have been in the 90s (or maybe 2000s). He had a face you wouldn't forget. Can almost see him now, he often wore a blue and white hooped shirt. Got subbed in a game once. Had hair - I think, perhaps he didn't. Definit...

Not asking for anything too in depth, just an interview/some PR in the local media with them both just to give us their take on things, introduce themselves, find out how they see Reading, future plans etc. so a relationship can start to be built up with media and fans. Don't really want total sile...

Re: The Forgotten

Big centre back we got from and returned to Telford ? Aaron Brown? If we're going back 30 years, how about Sean Reck? On loan from Oxford in the all conquering 85/86 season and played in 1 game, a 6-0 defeat at Walsall. I thought Sean's appearance was in the 3-0 stuffing at Priestfield (Gillingham).
