Re: World Cup 2026

it works well now. There is a good mix of teams in each group with the possibility of some upsets and some jeopardy and risk of decent teams not getting through, and this change will ruin all of that.
its utterly daft imo

Re: World Cup 2018

If you're mid air and get a two handed push in the back you can be as strong as you like you'll be pushed out of position. And not that I'm bitter but far more of a push than those that caused Sol Campbell's "goals" to be disallowed. Up the other end it was contact (jostling) both stayed ...

amazed that the owners are seemingly happy to turn away paying customers, when ticket sales have been dropping severely

Baldock’s scoring record at Championship level is bang average. He isn’t any better than what we already have . I would have hoped for better because if this is our only signing up front I can see us struggling for goals again next season.   id take bang average all day long at the ...

Re: CONFIMRED - John O’shea signs for Reading

Have thought about it and really do not get this transfer at all. it is a year with a view to then moving into coaching with the club. He's not going to baulk the youngsters this season as really both Holmes and Andresson need to be out on loan. He also gives cover for both full backs and as a defe...

happy with this one too. exactly what was needed.

looks like clement has correctly identified the gaps/weaknesses of our squad and is working quickly to fix them, without breaking the bank, so we can hopefully have some money to spend on a half decent striker

Re: Summer Transfers

how in gods name did we spend so much last year and yet still be in need of two strikers, a physical midfielder, a winger, a left back, a right back, two centre backs and a keeper? Because we don't? One striker to add to Bod, Novakovich, Yann + 1 of Smith/Loader Midfielder - yep 100% we do Winger -...

I think we all know that the Russians, the Thais, or the Chinese have no real love or affinity for the club, that's its just cold hard business for them . none of them are likely to pour money into the club that they aren't getting back in some way at some point. ive got no real need to see them or ...

also, the comments from the panel on BBCRB to have a more visible owner - is that really what people want? An owner who appears in the press all the time and makes the most of their ownership generating PR and profile? literally no interest in hearing from owners. but it certainly wouldn't hold it ...

Re: Summer Transfers

I agree with those who are saying we don't need a massive overhaul. I think that would be foolish. . for me its not just important to swap poor players for better players, but its also very important to bring enough in so that the pervading feeling within the squad isn't all about this seasons abje...

Re: Where does the blame lie ; not the Owners ?

owners to blame for putting STAM/TEV/Gourlay in charge,
gourlay and tev to blame for the most appalling recruitment, spending millions on players shit we didn't need
stam to blame for motivation, fitness and tactics.
