I'm conflicted, and cant decide whats worse, that or the majority of our fans being offended by people trying to generate any kind of atmosphere at all.

Re: Nicky Hammond Leaves WBA

Quite who in power determines the "correct" level of "representation " is never disclosed of course. Presumably it is a member of the so-called "injured minority"? surely all theyre aiming for is for the level of representation to be vaguely similar to the levels of th...

Re: BFTG Sunderland

Think Blackett was a midfielder in his youth career, so may well have a bit of knowledge in the position. It might work I'm not sure if he has the footballing intelligence to pull it off to be honest. Blackett is a very basic footballer and if things are kept simple he is a perfectly acceptable def...

Re: BFTG Sunderland

Can’t see Joey or Edwards playing next season Swift/Bacuna/Kelly is prob our best combo but Bacuna’s stupidity has messed that up I’m not convinced Evans is any better than an ok fill in. He hasn’t really progressed and never seems to dominate a game Interesting to see Rinomhota was picked ahead of...

Re: BFTG Fulham

A new manager has come in, and the only tangible difference I can see between the two styles is that instead of trying to pass the ball out of defence we are giving it a big hoof instead. Totally disagree with this - the defence look far more assured on the ball knowing that they can hit it long if...

Re: Arriving to games late

On the flip side of leaving games early, have you ever arrived to a game late, just as Reading (or the oppo) are scoring? Other scintillating anecdotes accepted. My uncle always goes on about a game in 93-94 season, Swansea away, coach broke down in the Bristol area, arrived to the game late and wa...

Re: CONFIMRED - Paul Clement appointed as new Royals boss

Wikipedia (the font of all knowledge) has his younger brother born in Reading. Does this mean that Paul grew up in the mighty borough that he now hopes to save? has defo lived in an RG postcode. spent some time living in crowthorne, (yay) where his father apparently committed suicide by drinking we...

mildly whelmed and cautiously optimistic
its a CV to die for as coach, and as a manager he has a track record of making quick impacts at struggling clubs.

time to get behind the club imo.
hopefully the crowds might pick up a bit and the atmosphere improve

Whilst I admire their commitment to give him time and reward last seasons performance with some loyalty, I think on balance that I'd have preferred he went in Jan to give new guy a chance.

From memory, Lita cost £1m and the rest of the 106 the square route of FA

Entire squad cost us less than 5 million quid.
Even adding in the 06/07 team additions it was under 7 million.
