Re: Rival Watch

The way this run in is panning out so far, we will get beat by WBA and Rotherham will beat Birmingham!! Thus causing fellow Nobbers to go into meltdown mode and await the oncoming Apocalypse!!!!
Only for us to go and win at Boro the following week!!! :D

Re: BFTG - Brentford

There is no way in hell we will get all five loanee"s back, but if we can get the reported 7 mill for Swift then that would allow us to maybe get two in and maybe another back on loan for another year. If this is the case then Baker would be my number one choice, he has really grown into this t...

Re: The League of 4

Agreed, Saturday is now a massive game and if we win and results go our way we could be in touching distance of safety. However, this is Reading lol.
Would be nice to see 20,000 on Saturday, what with the importance of the game and being a derby game to-boot.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Norwich City (a) sponsored by James Harper

5-3-2 worked great tonight, and against lesser teams the two up top gives us a better attacking threat and really shores up the defense. Defiantly the way to go for the final two away games.
Thought Reading were immense tonight, great spirit and character to come back after those late goals :D

Re: The League of 4

With six games to go and with so much at stake, i can guarantee you the form guide will go out the window!!! These last six rounds of fixtures will be a lottery especially as it goes down to the wire. Yes, there will be games that go to form, but no one will want to be playing the teams at the botto...

Re: Swift to Leeds

If selling Swift allows us to fund the purchase of some of our loanee's then i have no problem with this. Swift on his day is a great player but his consistency and work rate is nowhere near good enough for an aspiring championship club, let alone a struggling one. And i'm guessing that he would be ...

Re: BFTG - PNE

That was a very good first half performance and a steady second half. This team as it is now with some self belief and confidence would be a very dangerous side next season. It needs a little tweaking here and there but with a full preseason under Jose and maybe if we could keep the four outfield lo...

Re: BFTG Stoke

Seeing as no-one else has started one yet Wasn't the best stream I've ever seen, but from what I could tell we weren't great. The final pass on a number of times let us down and we continuously messed around on the edge of their box (I suppose its better than our own box) Martinez 7 - didn't have t...

Re: Injury & Suspension Watch : 2018/2019

Our medical department need shooting Really needs to be looked into, I`ve never known it to be so bad in all my time supporting this club, players take a knock and they are out for months. I agree, this injury crisis could well cost us a place in this league!! i would be 100% confident that with a ...

Re: The League of 4

If we can win on Saturday against Wigan and results go our way then we would only be 5 points adrift of QPR in 18th place and the bottom half would really be anybodies. How many times have the bottom teams battled it out and gone on a decent runs of points and suddenly a team whom everyone thought w...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham United (h) sponsored by all or nothing

I'm afraid McCleary is clearly past his best and as said Meite is a Joke!! Barrow or Harriott should be our regular Right Wingers as they have the raw pace and ability to make things happen. Rant over. Absolute nonsense, Barrow has played pretty much every game this season and hasn't contributed an...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham United (h) sponsored by all or nothing

Two really poor teams, and a fair result i guess. We go 1-0 up and for ten minutes we had them on the ropes, a second and its game over and Wigan and Millwall are right back in the mix. However, we let them back into the game and sat back on our lead and that was that.... One standout for me today w...

Re: Ex Players

McNulty with 3 in 3 now, I'm glad we gave him so many chances to show what he can do Two goals tonight!! that"s 4 in 3 now i think. I really rated this guy but he was never given a chance to shine, plus we play with a lone striker which isn't really his ideal formation. This big question is, i...

Re: Have Reading ever had a player like a "Pogba B"

Going back to the early 80s, and i always remember Neil Webb as being a classy Midfielder and could change a game with his class in an instant. If i remember correctly he had a pretty mean shot on him as well. Think he went on to join Nottingham Forrest?

Re: MATCHWATCH : Rotherham United (h) sponsored by all or nothing

Rotherham are no mugs, and they will relish the fight against our powder puff midfield!! they will be fully aware of our weaknesses and you can be sure they will press our keeper and defense into any mistake possible, as well as battering our midfield into submission!! However, i'm sure there mental...

Re: Reading v Rotherham -- Match 34 Prediction League

This has 1-0 to Rotherham written all over it. I fear we will get out muscled in midfield and they will sneak a win. Their form has been pretty similar to ours recently, and they are getting lots of draws. I really hope Saturdays 4-0 defeat hasn't caused us to much internal damage. The attendance sh...
