Re: Slough away or fulham at that place in hampshire

Youngsters at Slough at 12.45pm and oldsters at the Rec at 1.30pm Anyone arsed enough to go to either? Thinking the game at Slough might well be the most attractive to fans. If they'd thought it out right they'd have set the kick off times so you could get to watch both but then the "attractio...

Re: Fixtures

Are Birmingham the most northern side in the southern half of the draw? I would never remotely consider them a southern team but I suppose it just shows how many more northern teams there are in the football league. West Brom Yeah, I had a little look myself, Norwich seem to be slightly further Nor...

Re: Club 1871

That was us in the South Bank once. The difference is we're getting old and sensible now. The difference back then was the fact the away fans could climb over the fence and charge at the young kids - that's why they all wore running trainers  Alternatively, as I recall, away fans also had the ...

Re: Liam Moore to Brighton

Did we agree a "moving on" fee with Leicester when we bought him? If so, what percentage of any fee we get for Moore will have to passed onto Leicester. If it is 20%, and we sell him for £5 million, it dosn't look so attractive does it?

Re: Building for next season

It seems that Adi Popa was training at Reading for a couple of weeks at the end of last season. Paul Clement gave him a lot of attention and was waiting for him in the team. Popa also said he is coming back for pre-season and is going to do what is required to stay here and hopes to do a good job. S...

Re: Thatcham Town FA Vase Final

It is a magnificent achievement for a club such as Thatcham. What a day for them to remember. Good to see that 'grass roots' football is thriving in Berkshire. Especially after the durge we have been dished up over the past couple of years. Maidenhead United also easily consolidating their position...

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

So, I presume we've had the standard firesale of shirts for a tenner in the club shop - or will the club retain this seasons shirt into next season? I presume not and so let the speculation commence.... For the away kit. I would like to see something different for a change. How about red and yellow...

PC has said himself that he was brought in to keep us up. and now is the time to sort out the rest of the team. He seems to have some idea as to who he wants to keep and probably has an idea who he wants to bring in. Lets give him our backing and see how it goes next season, before we start saying h...

Re: Building for next season

It may not be as easy to sell off players as some fans think. Remember, a player has to agree terms with a new club. So, if he has three years left on his contract at £x pounds per week he will may not agree to a two year contract on less money. Would you? He would more than likely say "I'm sta...

Are Chelsea doing anything similar? He was a legend there too.

Yes, Chelsea players are wearing black armbands and they are also holding a minutes applause at their next home match.
