Re: The Local Journo Thread

Ease up OMA  That might be going a little too far. Well it's OMA, so excessive bile is the norm. Podcasts (which btw, usually aren't done by the TTE editor) aren't always as good as they were with Wimb, that's true. But Wimb was exceptionally good - in comparison to other fan-led podcasts and ...

Re: New Manager

This is a weird take on things from JLow. Maybe makes some sense https://www.football.london/reading-fc/reading-fc-news-luis-castro-15521865 Until I read read this article I thought we were getting our club back. If this agent was behind signing those players, it dosn't show much for his knowledge....

Re: New Manager

The horse's mouth! Some time ago he said so in a radio interview, most likely Radio Berks, but could have been in Tilehurst End podcast or something along those lines. Peta would be furious to see you marginalizing horses by using that saying.. I was hoping to read an article. Here you go: https://...

Re: New Manager

Sorry NCS that I coudn't be more precise, but my memory is not what it was many, many years ago. The horses mouth was an unfortunate phrase to use, I suppose, I meant no offence to horses or Bryn. By the way, who is Peta? It was a joke. Google Peta anti-animal language. Googled and now I see the jo...

Re: New Manager

Bryn. Gunnasson. He seems to doing quite well in Iceland. He has also said that his dream job would be to manage Reading. He may well be able to bring back the fans to the Mad Stad. Source for the dream bit? I'm all for making dreams come true. The horse's mouth! Some time ago he said so in a radio...

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

Barely heard the squeekiest of peeps from the numerically, passionately, morally and vocally superior South East corner. If OMA, royalbox, John Smith, DD and Informant put as much effort into turning up and singing as coming on here and criticising C1871 after every match we wouldn't have an atmosp...

Re: New league?

Don't worry, we will not be involved in this. The TV company (if there is one lined up) who will broadcast the new league won't want us in there. We are not one of the audience pulling "big" clubs.

There will be an Act of Remembrance at 1.45pm this Saturday by the Memorial Wall at Gates 1 and 2. This is organised by the football club and STAR. Re: David Meyler - Reading's biggest ever mercenary?

There's obviously no way of truly knowing the answer to this but, if he were to be offered the ability to never play a game for a football club again but to still pick up a wage while developing his online/eSports presence, could you say, with confidence , that he'd not want to do so? So, if your b...
