Re: The Relegation Years

We're shit, but we will gradually get ever so less shit. Be surprised if we go down. Aren't we still as bad as we were? No, we're actually worse. I have no problem admitting that initially I thought relegation talk was premature and unjust, and now am much more aware of the precarious position we f...

Re: What was the single biggest mistake we made this season?

I imagine the first thing we'd do is cash in on Liam Moore at a much reduced price. Then try and thin out the wage bill. I do wonder who would end up staying. While going down could be a springboard if we do well, there's always the risk of doing a Coventry or Leyton Orient and continue tumbling do...

So, it is now down to two teams who can get more than 106. Let's hope we can put a dent in the Wolves attempt and take three points off them on the 3rd. March. I am allowed to dream aren't I?

Bit early to suggest a continuation of the the pattern.

Re: Stam to be sacked?

I have read both articles and it seems to me, to be pure speculation (as most newspaper articles of managers sacking/player transfers are) and no actual foundation to them. Just have to wait until I read "Stam sacked",or more likely the headline will be "A statement from the board&quo...

And that one is predicting a draw. Loving the positivity. It's like the orange one is back with us! Umm. Maybe we should all change our predictions then. We all know what happens when our fans think it will be a walkover. Don't we? Nah, oxf*rd that. We're going to win! See what I mean?

Re: CONFIMRED - Chris Martin (loan)

Looking forward to the lulz at me for not knowing this but is it actually a rule? In football manager you have the option to allow players to play against their parent team. Obviously it's just a game but why would they include something specifically banned by the fa? As far as I am aware it is a r...

Re: Who could replace Stam?

A Championship side hiring a local non-league manager is definitely lol worthy. Yeah, it's not as if a Manager whose only previous managerial experience came with Slough and Woking ever did much in this division ;) I'm not sure Devonshire has worked for us for 10 years in most coaching and sc...

Re: The road from here....

I think the owners and Gorley should be made to read all these comments on this thread. Most of them appear to be fed up with the style of football being played, and some giving up going to the Mad Stad. It would give them food for thought and perhaps they would react to the views of the very long t...

Re: Who could replace Stam?

Why not give Alan Devonshire a go. He has done well at Maidenhead so far. Yes, it is well below our level, but I am sure he would jump at the chance to manage a league club and he might save us from going down, I can't see Stam doing it.
