Re: Building for next season

It seems that Adi Popa was training at Reading for a couple of weeks at the end of last season. Paul Clement gave him a lot of attention and was waiting for him in the team. Popa also said he is coming back for pre-season and is going to do what is required to stay here and hopes to do a good job. S...

Re: Thatcham Town FA Vase Final

It is a magnificent achievement for a club such as Thatcham. What a day for them to remember. Good to see that 'grass roots' football is thriving in Berkshire. Especially after the durge we have been dished up over the past couple of years. Maidenhead United also easily consolidating their position...

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

So, I presume we've had the standard firesale of shirts for a tenner in the club shop - or will the club retain this seasons shirt into next season? I presume not and so let the speculation commence.... For the away kit. I would like to see something different for a change. How about red and yellow...

Re: Goodbye

PC has said himself that he was brought in to keep us up. and now is the time to sort out the rest of the team. He seems to have some idea as to who he wants to keep and probably has an idea who he wants to bring in. Lets give him our backing and see how it goes next season, before we start saying h...

Re: Building for next season

It may not be as easy to sell off players as some fans think. Remember, a player has to agree terms with a new club. So, if he has three years left on his contract at £x pounds per week he will may not agree to a two year contract on less money. Would you? He would more than likely say "I'm sta...

Try sending an E-mail to customer services at the club. Rob replied to mine quite quickly.

Are Chelsea doing anything similar? He was a legend there too.

Yes, Chelsea players are wearing black armbands and they are also holding a minutes applause at their next home match.

Still no mention on the OS. Unless I have missed something which is a disgrace. There was something on the 20th. April 2018 about his passing. I too missed it, but the club gave me a link to it, but can be seen if you keep clicking on the "View more" button on the latest news page. It see...

Just finished, Reading Women 3 Everton Ladies 0. Reading now up to third in table. Albeit, they have played one or two games more than anyone else, but has been a very good season for somewhere in the club, at least.

Re: Roy Bentley

Was a great man to have as a manager. When we played Scunthorpe away whilst he was Reading's Manager, our train from Scunthorpe to Doncaster was cancelled, and the half dozen or so supporters would have missed the train to London. Roy said "Hop on here lads, we'll get you there on time" He...

Bring him back to Reading FC to replace Gorley and B. T. He will be able to clear out the rubbish and get a good fee for them.
