Re: Financial Fair Play

Yes it would have to be realistic But they could claim if he was purchased for 7m 2 years before, 3.5- 5m would be reasonable for him now This of course ignoring he was fcuking atrocious in that 2 years, but that would be subjective, and waved through Reckon they’ll loan him for another year after ...

Re: Rival Watch

Think they’ll be too desperate to win and screw it up. Brum are handy when they want to be. We’ll get a point and be safe

Re: Gomes after 10 League Games

Very much doubt PC had much to do with the dross hanging around. He aired his frustration a number of times with the size of the squad

Re: Rival Watch

It’s not that they are likely to, but until they mathematically can’t catch us, will still be a little nervous

It’s sounds like they’ve played quite well recently as well - they won’t be too despondent yet

Re: Gomes after 10 League Games

I have to disagree Ian. Just look at the summer 2018 signings under Clement. They were awful. It’s more than that though. Gomes has managed to integrate these loanees into the squad. They have bought into Gomes and what he is doing. The existing players have done so too and Moore has confirmed this...

Re: BFTG - Bristol City

I think that comes with the territory with Nelson

Everyone knows he is a selfish striker. When and if he scores 20 in a season no one will care.

Re: Gomes after 10 League Games

It’s all speculation of course, but it would have been interesting to see how Clement got on with Howe backing rather than the dreadful Gourlay Certainly from some of the noise coming out, Clement wasn’t the answer long term. But I also think he was a little unlucky to be sacked when he was. The inj...

Re: MATCHWATCH : West Bromwich Albion (h) sponsored by Brian Howard

I think they are 99% certain of being in the play offs

Wouldn’t be surprised to see them start to rest or rotate a few - though there is ages until the play offs actually start

Re: BFTG - Bristol City

How many opportunities did Oli squander?! Struggling to think of many worse substitute appearances. He desperately needs a goal. Anyway, a really good point away at a good team. You can see why they’re successful, the amount of balls they lumped into the box was mental and for the most part we defe...

Re: BFTG - Bristol City

Wins against a PNE team who were flying at the time, a good if slightly disinterested Brentford side, to go with draws at Norwich, Brizzle and Stoke. Just the Hull defeat in there - it’s been a good run

Re: Rival Watch

There’s always this nagging thought that a couple of defeats in our last two games could see us down. It shouldn’t happen, but it definitely still could

Re: The League of 4

Reckon Rotherham might be done. Sounds like they’ve played well last few games but still dropped points. Ball doesn’t really seem to be running for them

Millwall definitely an interesting one. Not beating that Brentford side when down to ten is a terrible result.
