Re: The fans alternative course of action.

A top post, well said. Don't disagree with the post - but it needs more than just people whingeing about it on a crappy forum. If you both feel that way, start off some positive chants or shout out some loud encouragement to the players - sure others will then join in Of all the people to call out ...

Re: The fans alternative course of action.

What Stam says about the fans from now on is irrelevant as far as I'm concerned. He's entitled to his opinion of course, but no matter how well he means the things he says, he no longer has the support of the majority which is all but a position of dead man walking. But regardless of Stam and the w...

Re: Rival Watch

Brum seemed to have a full on melt down last night - Fans booing the boss, Keeper writing apologies on twitter. Seems their mini revival may have crashed to an end If you look at the highlights they could easily have lost 10:0 ... and most of the 5 goals were comedy defending! What a mess. One of t...

Re: The fans alternative course of action.

Great post Victor you are spot on about what being a fan is all about. I wish the arrogant and obnoxious Mr Stam had the slightest idea then he wouldn't shoot himself and the Club in the foot everytime he opens his big mouth. I have supported the Club over 50 years and have never hated any Club emp...

Guessing same team bar Bod in for Martin

Hopefully Swift at least on the bench. Not sure the cold weather is going to be good for his dodgy hammy mind you

Neck out - think we might win this one.

Re: The fans alternative course of action.

I'd agree with that. Its like he can't help himself and ends up saying something that will be picked up on

Just respond with 'we all need to stick together and if the fans get behind us they can be our 12th man' type platitudes

Stam with some more comments on the fans:

He sort of has a point, it just comes across rather clumsily

Yeah literally the second I posted :)

Still matters not, dropping points at home. Watched the last 10 - Leeds were pretty rancid

Re: Rival Watch

Not rivals to us, but Derby losing to a pretty poor and off form Leeds

Watched a bit and Derby are pretty basic. Certainly shouldn’t be scared of them

Gunter’s has a decent season. Barrow. Moore’s been ok

It’s a weird one - everyone sees him do it, nobody likes him doing it and it ruins the whole shape of the team quite clearly, and yet it continues to happen

Re: MATCHWATCH : Nottingham Forest (a) sponsored by things can only get better

As I said in the BFTG thread, a lot of our (self created) problems in the 2nd half stemmed from Aluko drifting further and further in field. In the 1st half him, Barrow, Gunter and Richards provided plenty of width. This pegged Forest back and allowed us to control the game tempo. Barrow didn’t nee...

Re: BFTG Forest (A)

But the effort levels were definitely vastly improved I imagine that's something to do with the 10 day break. I do hate to be one of the negative nobbers, but a draw last night wasn't good enough, it doesn't matter if the performance was better. To an extent I agree. Before the game had this down a...

Re: Reading v Derby prediction thread

Actually thought the Forest game was entertaining. Would take a repeat of that (with obvs a better result) on Saturday Sorry Hound, you’ve lost your mind. Play like that again and Derby would put 10 past us. I meant in terms of entertainment value. We will certainly have to play a lot better than w...
