Re: Ilori. Why did we buy him?

Wouldn't be completely surprised if someone tried to buy Moore this summer either

Re: Ilori. Why did we buy him?

Because Stam and or Tevreden wanted to sign him basically

CB situation is interesting going into the last couple of games. Wonder if he'll bring McShane back in

Re: MATCHWATCH : Nottingham Forest (a) sponsored by nearly there now

Looking at remaining fixtures and the table, Leeds really are Struggling to get in now. Shame that.

Re: Royal Elm Park

Yeah you can hire the dome currently. Did it for the boy's birthday this year (the changing rooms are comically terrible but the pitch is great)

I imagine the new facility would allow the same, they prob make a bit of money from it

I'd rather read GetReading's 'web chat with J Low' than try to read through that lot again.

Re: Who do you want to miss out on the play offs?

I think Weds are the best team on paper. There's a lot experience and quality up front.

not that it counts for a lot. I think Fulham will exhaust themselves trying to get in, Leeds are bang average with a good goalscorer, and Hudders and us are good all round teams with the best management.

Re: Rate your season

Brentford... crappy trains. Yeah same, 4-1 loss compounded by having to go home via Clapham Junction and Basingstoke :| +111 Turned up at the ground, had about 6 pints in the griffin and got into the ground to find they only serve soft drinks - absolutely does my nut in when they do this. After, st...

Ascotexgunner wrote:Fulham for me....I think they would win the playoffs......however the ultimate scenario is Fulham v Wednesday both needing a point to keep Leeds out of the playoffs and deciding to have a kick about for 90 minutes. The fallout would be class.

Agreed, that would be most enjoyable

Re: Rate your season

Yeh great season. Only seen us lose twice - at Arsenal and Brentford. Both of us those experiences were especially ruined by crappy trains. I've really enjoyed the home games, even the games that folk on here have slated like Barnsley and Burton I enjoyed watching us evolve as a side Highlights prob...

Re: INJURY WATCH : 2016-2017

Rakers is a worry isn't he? He was meant to be back in Jan - sure he won't appear again this season now. Big shame for him that after a decent end to last season

Re: Attendances

I'd expect the attendances in northern places where there are no jobs to be well down if that was solely the case. But then I suppose there is nothing else to do there bar watching the football. drinking in run down looking working mens clubs beating their wives being racist talking about old times...

Re: Attendances

I kind of agree - which is why I mentioned about the trek up to the stadium. If you could have a couple of decent pubs on the way or something to make it more of a 'day out' it would be helpful. The lack of anything to do up that part of Reading is a big issue I think.

Re: Attendances

I think safe standing would be a nice, agree on that. Its a shame they can't make the walk from Reading to the Stadium a little bit more enticing as well - I've no idea on how they could do that, but I suspect the hassle of having to drive/get a bus turn a few off as well. The millennial thing - I d...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Nottingham Forest (a) sponsored by nearly there now

we are a far better side without Norwood in it imo, and I thought that last year as well. Him and Williams were a rancid midfield last year. Kelly is the player Norwood wanted to be but Kelly is far better
