Re: Back from the game Stevenage

Gunter's been one of our best players this season (admittedly not a high bar). Watson hasn't played for the first team for a year, and even then only had a few games There's a long way to go to see Watson as a replacement for Gunter. Gunter on the right, and Richards on the left is the way to go at...

Re: Starting XI

I think people get carried away with Richards. He does look great, but under the pressure that we are at the moment I’d rather stick Gunter in there and cover RB with someone else (Bacuna etc). It’s possible that the vultures and boo boys could ruin the kids confidence if he messes up, whereas Gunt...

not sure anyone is getting carried away. He should have had a lot more starts based on his form in the league games as well.

I can see Chris Coleman coming in for him in the summer when he rebuilds that Sunderland squad (if he's still there by then).

not sure he will want to drop to the 1st division though

Re: Rumour - Chris Martin

I've heard that in here before, genome, as if its some kind of justification for the negativity. Assuming its even true, just for the record we don't necessarily want to just be like other fans/clubs, right? We want to be BETTER than other fans/clubs, right? Or am I being too presumptuous in that t...

Re: Starting XI

I’d consider Dadi on the right wing. Believe he plays there successfully for Iceland
Not writing McCleary off quite yet personally though, think he still has something to offer

Wouldn’t mind seeing your second line up there with Blackett in at CB

Our fans gave him a hard time but you don't turn into a bad player over night. I imagine that happens to loads of clubs, not just us. Re: Team for Brentford

fair enough - forgot about McCleary's attempt to play CF. Didn't realise Beerens swapped wings last night - normally Barrow stays left throughout whilst Aluko goes walkabouts Agree on Stam's subs - baffling at times. Only using one last night was poor, and as for bringing on Kelly and not Bod when l...

Re: Team for Brentford

Richards and Bod in please stop oxf*rd about and playing people out of position. full backs at fullback, wingers on wings, strikers up front you forgot - left-sided players on the left and right-sided players on the right. (Having said that, Gunts did well last night on the wrong side) tbf, I think...

Blackett's ideal position. LCB (3 at the back) > CB >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LB Have been saying it for donkeys. ] its not exactly a new or visionary opinion to have tbf. was pretty obvious last year, where him and Obita made a good left side I think he could do it in a 2...

Actually wouldn’t be unhappy to see Blackett playing regularly at CB alongside Moore and/or Ilori

They are all far better than McShane tbh

Re: Back from the game Stevenage

The 2nd and 3rd goals were superb team goals - exactly how we should be playing. Quite why we can't do this more often is confusing. I don't think its just down to the quality of the opposition

maybe it is a case of confidence.

Re: Rumour - Chris Martin

Interesting that Bod's record this season is considerably better than Martin's. Not to put a dampener on though, would be a good signing
