Re: The fans alternative course of action.

As an addendum to Green's question, what is it that goes wrong for so many people in their childhood/teenage years that stops them from developing competent, adult emotional stability? I just can't begin to understand people, some of whom are as old as 26 or 27, whose moods are genuinely impacted b...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Nottingham Forest (a) sponsored by things can only get better

some quotes from the Forest Forum: As I seem to say every game now, it would be nice for us to really go for a win from the start. I don’t mean play reservedly and feel our way into the game before conceding the inevitable sloppy goal out of nothing. I mean push up, get full backs forward and get s...

Re: Relegation Watch

We need to win not purely because of this fixture, it's more because the upcoming games are really tough. The only must win game would be when we need to win to stay up, but hopefully it won't come to that. neither Sheff utd or Derby are on great form tbh. They certainly aren't easy, but are winnab...

Re: Relegation Watch

Would have to say it all looks in our favour tonight. A defeat would be pretty crushing tbh Lose tonight and it will feel like it's all over Plot lost. We can lose another 6 games this season and still be comfortable. of course, which is why it isnt a 'must-win' or anything however, this really is ...

Re: Forest v Reading Prediction Thread

With a 10-day break, and Forest missing Lichaj, Worrall, and potentially Mancienne, Vellios and Murphy, alongside a godawful home form. If we don't win this, I officially give up on this team. HT Forest 0 Reading 1 FT Forest 1 Reading 2 Martin, Barrow Also them playing 70 mins with 10 men in a loca...

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

seen nothing on Watson.

Any idea who this Sam Bailey chap is who has joined the academy from Derby? Can't see a reference to a role etc

edit: seems to be someone on the media side rather than the football side

Re: Who could replace Stam?

Fair play to Wigan Daily Star reporting Stam will be sacked if we lose tonight. Based on what exactly I’m not sure I don't think a club pay for a 4 day training camp in Spain only to sack the manager the following week, doesn't add up at all and I don't buy it. I think we are stuck with Stam regard...

Re: Relegation Watch

The fans have behaved exactly as you’d expect them to here Ok, the crowd are quiet at home and a bit sulky and leave early, but on the other hand Stam should be grateful he isn’t getting repeated Stam Out chants and a lot more abuse coming his way Not really buying that the crowd have anything to do...

Re: Who could replace Stam?

looks like Pards may be available again soon  from the earlier discussion, only Popa looks like one that Stam genuinely didn't fancy. Always looked a bit of an opportunist signing - end of contract, international who may or may not come good. Wieser and big Danzell were two cheap punts which d...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Nottingham Forest (a) sponsored by things can only get better

Would like to see the team line up along these lines Mannone Gunter Moore Ilori Richards Bacuna Swift Edwards Dadi Martin Barrow obvs depends on Swift being fit - I suppose Kelly is the best replacement currently. Also a bit problematic up front with Dadi being wide, but don't fancy McCleary or Aluk...

Re: Relegation Watch

Reading fans are what they are. No one is going to change the demographic of the area

The best way for the club to fill the stadium is to attract families etc and plan longer term

No real point moaning about it

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

How hands on was Herron out of interest?

Was presuming MarshAll manages the football side. Let’s hppe he can turn it round. Presuming we were a little under strength with the squad in Spain and Barrett out on loan

Re: Rival Watch

Forest isn’t a must-win. Nothing really is unless it’s black and white lose or you will go down

It is however absolutely massive. We will not get a better chance for 3 points again this season. A draw wouldn’t be terrible but we really should be looking to get the 3 points
